Kegiatan digelar di simpang Tugu Pedang Kelurahan Dusun Bangko Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Merangin, dalam kegiatan ini juga melibatkan para Babinsa, Rabu sore (21/4/2021).  

Kegiatan tersebut sebagai wujud kepedulian Kodim 0420/Sarko kepada warga masyarakat Merangin.

Pembagian takjil untuk berbuka puasa tersebut diperuntukan bagi warga masyarakat pengguna jalan yang melintasi Tugu Pedang di saat sore hari.

Dandim 0420/Sarko Letkol Tomi Radya Diansyah Lubis, S.A.P., M.Han., melalui Kasdim mengharapkan dengan pembagian takjil ini bisa membatu masyarakat yang memang masih berada di jalan saat menjelang buka. Selain itu kita berharap ini bisa membantu masyarakat di tengah kondisi wabah corona,” ungkapnya.

Kegiatan pembagian takjil gratis digelar mulai jam 17.00 WIB hingga menjelang buka puasa dengan mendapat respon yang positif dari warga masyarakat yang sangat antusias dengan pembagian takjil tersebut.

"Selain takjil, kami juga membagikan masker secara gratis kepada masyarakat yang kebetulan melintasi jalan tersebut, dengan harapan masyarakat bisa tetap disiplin menjalankan protokol kesehatan dengan menggunakan masker, serta sebagai upaya kita bersama mencegah virus covid 19," tutupnya.
