Ditegaskan Bupati Merangin, H. Al Haris usai memimpin apel gelar pasukan Operasi Ketupat di Mapolres Merangin pada Rabu (05/5), seluruh masyarakat ‘tidak pandang bulu’ harus berperan serta, mematuhi Prokes pencegahan Covid-19.
‘’Jadi tidak ada lagi warga  yang tidak mengenakan masker, jaga jarak dan rajin mencuci tangan. Kita jangan hanya melihat, tapi terlibat langsung ikut mengawasi orang lain yang tidak mengenakan masker, untuk cepat memakai maskernya,’’ ujar Bupati.
Bupati memastikan, jangan ada orang luar yang mambawa virus Covid-19 ke Kabupaten Merangin. Makanya pengawasan arus mudik di posko-posko daerah perbatasan akan semakin diperketat.
Petugas dari Polres Merangin, Kodim 0420 Sarko, Satpol PP, Perhubungan, tim Medis dan pihak lainnya, akan bersinergi untuk menekan angka Covid-19 bisa cepat turun, sehingga Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1442 H, berlangsung lancar.
Tim yang akan selalu bersinergi ini nanti juga akan memantau lokasi-lokasi ibadah dan berbagai tempat-tempat lainnya yang dapat menibulkan potensi penyebaran virus Corona.
Semua desa/kelurahan juga diminta bupati, untuk menyiapkan posko di perbatasan desa/kelurahannya. Selain itu desa juga harus menyiapkan tempat isolasi, untuk warganya bila ditemukan terpapar Covid-19.
Selain itu bupati mengatakan, bagi warga yang telah dulu pulang kampung sebelum jadwal waktu penyekatan wilayah, akan terus diawasi sampai yang bersangkutan kembali ke tempat semula.
Kapolres Merangin AKBP Irwan Andy Purnamawan menegaskan, penyekatan wilayah akan dilakukan dengan ketat. Mereka yang nekat mudik akan terjaring di posko-posko yang didirikan di daerah perbatasan kabupaten.
‘’Di Posko perbatasan yang personilnya lengkap itu, akan kita siapkan ambulan dan mobil pemadam kebakaran. Kita juga akan dirikan Posko di jantung Kota Bangko untuk mengawasi aktivitas warga yang bakal ramai ke pasar jelang Lebaran Idul Fitri,’’ terang Kapolres.
