BATANGHARINEWS.COM - PetroChina International Jabung Ltd. (PetroChina) telah menandatangani Nota Kesepahaman dengan PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (Pusri) dan PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) untuk pasokan gas yang diperkirakan mencapai lebih dari 100 BBTUD untuk kedua calon pembeli.
Seremoni penandatanganan ini dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 17 Juni 2021 dalam acara Oil and Gas Investment Day 2021 yang merupakan pre-event dari IPA Convex 2021.
Dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid-19, acara ini hanya dapat dihadiri secara offline untuk undangan yang terdiri atas pimpinan perusahaan minyak dan gas, dan perusahaan lainnya. Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Alam, Arifin Tasrif serta Kepala SKK Migas, Dwi Soetjipto turut hadi pada acara ini.
Dalam sambutannya, Arifin mengatakan bahwa Indonesia sedang bersaing dengan negara-negara penghasil minyak lain di seluruh dunia untuk menarik investasi. Menurutnya, kontribusi pemerintah dan semua lapisan masyarakat sangat penting dalam sektor minyak dan gas bumi.
“Kita harus membangun kemitraan strategis antara Pemerintah, dunia usaha, dan masyarakat,” ujar Arifin.
Selain itu, Kepala SKK Migas, Dwi Soetjipto juga menekankan pentingnya kerjasama antarpihak. Dwi berharap pemerintah melalui Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Alam, Kementerian Keuangan, dan SKK Migas dapat mempercepat implementasi dan peningkatan kebijakan fiskal untuk menarik penanam modal.
“Untuk mempercepat peluncuran kebijakan fiskal yang lebih efektif yang mampu mendorong investor untuk meningkatkan kegiatan produksi dan eksplorasi di Indonesia,” ungkap Dwi.
Pada acara ini, Direktur PetroChina, Qian Mingyang menandatangani pasokan gas untuk mendukung pengembangan Proyek Pusri III-B, yang diperkirakan mencapai 60BBTUD dan akan on-stream pada tahun 2036.
Qian juga menandatangani pasokan gas yang diperkirakan sebesar 50 BBTUD dan akan on-stream pada tahun 2023 untuk operasi Steam Flood di Blok Rokan yang terletak di provinsi Riau dan dikelola oleh PHR.
PetroChina berkomitmen untuk bekerja sama dengan semua pemangku kepentingan untuk mencapai target produksi. Menurut Qian, kolaborasi yang telah terjalin ini telah menghasilkan produksi stabil sebesar 50,000 BOEPD selama lebih dari satu dekade, walaupun blok Jabung akan berakhir pada tahun 2023.
“PetroChina dan partner-partner kami telah berhasil mempertahankan produksi sebesar 50,000 BOEPD selama 15-16 tahun,” katanya.
Qian melanjutkan bahwa PetroChina juga berharap untuk dapat terus mendukung perkembangan ekonomi di Jambi.
“Untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan sumber daya yang ada, kami menyatakan minat kami untuk mengembangkan sumber daya yang ada di Jabung lebih jauh lagi dan menjalin kerjasama yang baik dengan para calon pembeli untuk mendukung ekonomi di wilayah tersebut,” tandas Qian.(*)
