MUAROJAMBI - Warga Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota yang beberapa hari lalu mengeluhkan air PDAM Tirta Muarojambi di wilayah Unit Pelayanan Sungai Duren sering mati hidup. Setelah ditelisik, adanya kerusakan pompa inteke penyadap air baku.
Menurut Direktur PDAM Tirta Muarojambi Budi Mulia, sehubungan dengan adanya kerusakan pompa in take penyadap air baku di wilayah Unit Pelayanan Sungai duren, sehingga menyebabkan aliran air untuk wilayah Sungai duren dan sekitarnya terganggu.
"Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut pihak kita telah melakukan perbaikan pompa dan jaringan pipa distribusi dari pipa 6 inchi, ke 10 inci. Sehingga kedepan aliran air ke pelanggan tidak terganggu," kata Budi Mulia kepada awak media, Senin (12/7).
Dirinya juga meminta maaf kepada seluruh pelanggan PDAM Tirta Muarojambi atas terganggunya aliran air diwilayah Sungai Duren tersebut.
"Hal ini akan segera kita selesaikan dalam waktu dua hari ini, insyaallah aliran air akan kembali normal," pungkasnya.
