MERANGIN - Setelah mengikuti upacara peringatan detik-detik Proklamasi  HUT ke-76 RepubIik Indonesia secara virtual dari Istana Merdeka, di Pola Utama Kantor Bupati Merangin, Plt Bupati H Mashuri dan rombongan bergesar ke Lapas kelas II B Bangko.
Di Lapas tersebut, Plt bupati memberikan remisi kepada 251 orang warga binaan Lapas kelas II B Bangko. ‘’Selamat kepada yang mendapatkan remisi ini, semoga kian bersemangat untuk kembali ke tengah-tengah masyarakat,’’ujar Plt Bupati, Selasa (17/8/21).
Sebanyak 251 orang yang mendapatkan remisi pada acara yang berlangsung di Pola Lapas Bangko tersebut, 141 orang diantaranya merupakan kasus Pidana Umum (Pidum). Sedangkan sebanyak 110 orang merupakan kasus Narkoba.
Remisi yang diterima para narapidana itu bervariasi, mulai dari satu bulan sebanyak 67 orang, remisi dua bulan sebanyak 53 orang, remisi tiga bulan sebanyak 70 orang dan remisi empat bulan sebanyak 37 orang.
Selain itu para narapidana tersebut, ada juga yang menerima remisi lima bulan sebanyak 24 orang. Untuk Ru II ada satu orang yang sedang menjalani subsider tiga bulan kurungan.
Remisi HUT ke-76 Republik Indonesia tersebut, sama sekali tidak diberikan kepada narapidana dari kasus tindak pidana korupsi (Tipikor). Ini terbukti dari lembaran remisi itu, untuk narapidana Tipikor nihil.
Usai acara pemberian remisi dan menyapa ratusan warga binaan Lapas kelas II Bangko, Plt bupati bersama unsur Forkopimda Merangin dan sejumlah kepala OPD di jajaran Pemkab Merangin, pulang untuk istirahat dan Shalat Zuhur.
Pada Selasa sore, Plt bupati bersama Forkopimda dan beberapa orang kepala OPD akan mengikuti jalannya upacara penurunan duplikat Bendara Pusaka Merah Putih di halaman depan Kantor Bupati Merangin.
