JAMBI - Ketua DPRD provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto menerima aksi unjuk rasa dari Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) provinsi Jambi, Kamis (24/3/2022). Edi didampingi beberapa anggota dewan lainnya diantaranya Budiyako, Rocky Chandra, Padli Sudria, dan Syamsul Ridwan.
Dalam aksi tersebut, KAMMI mempertanyakan kelangkaan minyak goreng di Indonesia, khususnya Jambi, sementara Indonesia trmasuk negara penghasil CPO terbesar.
Orator aksi juga meminta pemerintah untuk menjamin ketersediaan bahan pokok menjelang bulan Ramadhan.
Isu perpanjangan masa jabatan Presiden RI juga menjadi pertanyaan para pengunjuk rasa, menurut mereka hal itu menciderai demokrasi.
Terakhir, KAMMI meminta DPRD provinsi Jambi bersikap terhadap kegagalan investasi Bank Jambi sebesar 230 Milyar ke PT. SNP tahun 2017.
Menanggapi tuntutan dan aspirasi dari massa KAMMI, Edi Purwanto menyampaikan bawa dirinya bersama Kapolda dan Danrem sudah melakukan operasi pasar ke beberapa daerah, pihaknya juga sudah memanggil beberapa perusahaan.
“Kami sudah cek, sebenarnya stock minyak goreng kita cukup, maka tidak ada alasan minyak kita naik dan langka, yang terjadi adalah dua hal, yang pertama panic buying, masyarakat panik membeli minyak dalam jumlah besar, yang kedua ada permainan spekulan, itu jadi musuh kita bersama, kalo adek-adek ada data (spekulan,red) sampaikan kepada kami, akan kita perangi bersama,” jelas Edi.
Terkait harga kebutuhan bahan pokok, Edi menjelaskan bahwa pihaknya akan segera rapat bersama gubernur dan stakeholder yang ada terkait harga sembako di Jambi.
“Kami tidak ingin harga sembako naik jelang puasa, kalaupun naik jangan terlalu tinggi, harus tetap melindungi daya beli masyarakat,” jelasnya.
Adapun soal 3 periode, ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi ini menjelaskan bahwa masyarakat sudah mendengarkan langsung penjelasan Presiden. Bahwa yang mengusulkan hal tersebut adalah orang yang ingin menjilat atau menghancurkan Presiden.
“Setahu saya sampai hari ini belum ada pernyataan presiden untuk mendorong 3 periode, kita juga menolak jika hal tersebut dilakukan, termasuk isu penundaan pemilu, sudah disepakati antara pemerintah dan DPR, dilaksanakan pemilu di 2024, itu clear, ” ujar Edi.
Adapun terkait Bank Jambi, menurut Edi pihaknya sudah berkoordinasi dengan OJK, agak sulit untuk melakukan intervensi karena Bank Jambi adalah PT dan menjadi Bank Umum. Meski demikian DPRD akan memanggil Bank Jambi dalam waktu dekat.
“Kita akan dorong RUPS untuk mempertanyakan, bila ada temuan, kita akan dorong BPK untuk mendalami,” ungkap Edi.
Selanjutnya Edi menegaskan bahwa DPRD provinsi Jambi terus bekerja untuk menjawab berbagai persoalan yang ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat, dan dorongan dari mahasiswa menjadi penyemangat dan membuat kerja mereka lebih maksimal.
“Insya Allah kami terus bekerja, kami tidak tidur,” tegas Edi.
Setelah melakukan orasi di halaman gedung DRPD, Edi mengajak beberapa perwakilan pengunjuk rasa untuk menandatangani tuntutan di dalam ruang rapat pimpinan. (*)
