Himbauan tersebut dikatakan bupati saat melakukan Safari Ramadhan bersama para pejabat di jajaran Pemkab Merangin, di Masjid Miftahul Jannah Desa Mensango Kecamatan Tabir Lintas, Kamis malam (07/4/22).
‘’Tidak hanya keimanan, tapi juga kita pertebal ketaqwaan kita kepada Allah SWT. Salah satunya dengan memakmurkan masjid dengan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan, mulai dari tadarusan, pengajian-pengajian dan kegiatan remaja masjid,’’ ujar Bupati.
Bupati pada Safari Ramadhan menghadirkan penceramah H Arfandi itu, juga mengajak para orang tua ‘membentengi’ anak-anaknya dengan ilmu agama. Mengajak anak-anak bersama-sama meramaikan masjid, dengan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan.
Para orang tua juga diminta bupati dapat mengawasi aktivitas anak-anak, terlebih saat memainkan handphone androit. Jangan biarkan anak-anak main android seorang diri, karena akan banyak pengaruh buruk yang bisa merusak mental anak.
‘’Banyak anak-anak yang sudah ketergantungan dengan handphone android, salah satunya cucu saya sendiri. Untuk itu orang tua harus terus mengawasi aktivitas anaknya,’’ pinta Bupati.
Anak-anak diminta fokus bersekolah dan belajar. Sejauh masa pandemic Covid-19, Pemkab Merangin tidak pernah total meliburkan anak dari sekolah. Pembelajaran di sekolah dilakukan dengan sistem ship.
Selain itu bupati mengajak masyarakat untuk meningkatkan rasa kegotong-royongan, sebagai bentuk  kekompakan dan keberamaan masyarakat dalam membangun Kabupaten Merangin yang dicintai.
‘’Membangun Negeri ini tidak bisa sendiri-sendiri, tapi harus bersama-sama dengan tujuan semata untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat,’’ tegas Bupati pada acara yang juga dihadiri Camat Tabir Lintas Agus Manto.
