JAMBI – Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto melakukan Safari Ramadhan di Masjid Nurussa’adah, Pal Merah, Kota Jambi, Minggu (17/4/2022). Safari dari masjid ke masjid ini dilakukan Edi selain untuk menyemarakkan bulan Ramadhan 1443 Hijriah, juga dalam rangka silaturrahim dan melihat langsung kondisi dan kebutuhan masyarakat.
Saat diminta memberikan taushiyah singkat, Edi menekankan pentingnya memahami Al Quran secara kontekstual, tidak hanya tekstual.
“Insya Allah bsok kita memperingati Nuzulul Qur’an, jadi penting bagi kita untuk memiliki semangat mempelajari Al Quran, tidak cuma baca ayat dan artinya, tapi juga mempelajari tafsirnya,” ucap Edi.
Edi juga menekankan kepada jamaah yang hadir agar hati-hati terhadap arus deras dan era keterbukaan informasi.
“Hati-hati dengan berita bohong bapak ibu, jangan cepat percaya, jangan-jangan hoax,” pesan Edi.
Safari Ramadhan kali ini layaknya reuni bagi Edi, karena Ia dibesarkan di kawasan kebon kopi, tepat di kawasan sekitar Masjid Nurussa’dah.
“Dulu saya sama seperti adik-adik, rumah orang tua saya masih di sini, saya dulu ngajar-ngajar ngaji, dari kecil udah cari uang sendiri, jadi adik-adik jangan takut untuk bercita-cita tinggi, yang penting ikhtiar dan do’a, insya Allah, Allah mudahkan,” beber Edi menyemangati para remaja jamaah sholat isya dan tarawih masjid Nurussa’adah.
Dalam Safari Ramadhan ini, Edi diminta menyerahkan santunan dari pengurus masjid untuk anak yatim. Kegiatan ini rutin dilakukan pengurus masjid yang bersumber dari infak dan sumbangan masyarakat.
Pada kesempatan safari ini, pengurus dan masyarakat sekitar masjid mengeluhkan kondisi jalan di sekitar masjid yang rusak dan berdebu karena dilalui oleh truk-truk angkutan yang diduga melebih tonase.
Di akhir acara Edi menyerahkan bingkisan beberapa mushaf Al Quran kepada pengurus masjid. Ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan ini juga menyalurkan paket sembako kepada masyarakat yang berhak menerima di kawasan sekitar masjid.(*)
