JAMBI - Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Fraksi Golkar, Pinto Jayanegara, mengingatkan agar Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi bergerak cepat atas surat ederan yang sudah dilayangkan Kemenkes RI ke Pemprov Jambi soal pencegahan dan atisipasi penyakit Hepatitis Akut Misterius.
Pinto menyebutkan, bahwa penyakit ini sudah memakan korban jiwa pada pasien anak di Jakarta.
"Kita harus meningkatkan kewaspadaan, sebab WHO-pun sudah menetapkan meningkatnya kasus Hepatitis Akut ini sebagai kejadian luar biasa (KLB). Belajar dari pengalaman, jangan lagi meremehkan penyakit yang baru menyebar, apalagi kali ini sasarannya anak-anak,” kata Pinto pada Senin (9/5/2022).
Pinto pun mengatakan, peran Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jambi sangat penting dalam mengantisipasi kasus ini di Jambi, terlebih Surat Edaran nomor HK.02.02/C/2515/2022, Kementerian Kesehatan juga meminta peran aktif Pemerintah Daerah.
Strateginya, masih kata Pinto, Dinkes Provinsi harus gencar melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat, menekan penyebaran dengan melibatkan himbauan, dan pencegahan sampai ke pelosok di Provinsin Jambi.
"Sosialisasi juga penting dilakukan sampai ke masyarakat. Bisa libatkan pengurus RT, RW, atau Kader PKK. Namun materi yang disebarkan harus dibuat sejelas mungkin, kita tentu tidak mau membuat panik masyarakat yang baru mau bebas dari pandemi COVID-19," tegas Pinto Jayanegara yang juga Ketua Satgas COVID-19 DPRD Provinsi Jambi.
Untuk diketahui Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) melaporkan sebanyak tiga anak yang dirawat di RSUPN Dr. Ciptomangunkusumo Jakarta meninggal dunia diduga akibat hepatitis akut yang saat ini masih misterius.
Tiga pasien yang meninggal tersebut meninggal dengan rentang dua minggu terakhir hingga 30 April 2022.
Kemenkes mengatakan, masih melakukan investigasi terkait penyebab kejadian hepatitis akut tersebut melalui sejumlah pemeriksaan panel virus lengkap.
"Selama masa investigasi, kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk berhati-hati dan tetap tenang," ujar Juru Bicara Kemenkes Dr. Siti Nadia Tirmizi dalam keterangan resmi, Ahad, 1 Mei 2022.
Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) mencatat ada 169 kasus hepatitis akut yang tidak diketahui asalnya di 11 negara wilayah di Eropa dan Amerika per 21 April 2022.
Rinciannya, sebanyak 114 kasus hepatitis akut dilaporkan dari Inggris. Berikutnya, Spanyol dan Israel melaporkan masing-masing 13 kasus dan 12 kasus hepatitis akut.
Amerika Serikat tercatat memiliki sembilan kasus hepatitis akut. Diikuti oleh Denmark, Irlandia, dan Belanda dengan kasus hepatitis akut masing-masing sebanyak enam kasus, lima kasus, dan empat kasus.
Norwegia dan Prancis melaporkan masing-masing sebanyak dua kasus hepatitis akut. Sementara itu, Rumania dan Belgia masing-masing melaporkan sebanyak satu kasus hepatitis akut.
WHO menduga, salah satu penyebab infeksi Hepatitis Akut tersebut, yakni karena adenovirus. Adenovirus adalah kelompok besar virus yang dapat menginfeksi hewan dan manusia. Selain itu, WHO menyebut sebagai Adenovirus sebab mereka biasa berada di adenoids atau amandel.
Menurut laporan WHO, sebanyak 74 kasus dari total 169 kasus hepatitis terkonfirmasi disebabkan oleh Adenovirus.(ist)
