MUARASABAK - Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur kembali berhasil mempertahankan opini Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian (WTP) ke-5 kalinya. WTP kali ini diberikan BPK RI berdasarkan hasil pengelolaan keuangan TA. 2021. Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur Romi Hariyanto pun menerima langsung penghargaan WTP tersebut dari Ketua BPK RI Perwakilan Provinsi Jambi, Rio Tirta S.E., M.Acc., CSFA, di Aula BPK RI Perwakilan Provinsi Jambi, Senin siang (23/5).
Romi Hariyanto usai penyerahan LHP menyebutkan, apa yang diraih Pemkab Tanjung Jabung Timur ini tidak terlepas dari dukungan dan arahan dari BPK RI. Dalam pengelolaan sistem keuangan di lingkungan Pemkab Tanjabtim juga tidak terlepas dari kerja keras OPD agar pengelolaan keuangan Pemkab lebih akuntabel. Serta, kata Romi, penghargaan ini juga karena dukungan legislatif yang senantiasa mengawasi pelaksanaan kebijakan pengelolaan keuangan daerah.
‘’Kami sangat bersyukur dan berterimakasih kepada semua pihak, hingga kami dapat mempertahankan WTP kelima ini. Apa yang diraih ini tidak terlepas dari dukungan dan arahan BPKRI, DPRD yang selalu mengawasi kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah dan kerja keras seluruh OPD,’’ ujar Romi.
Meski demikian, Romi tetap meminta kepada seluruh OPD untuk tidak mudah berpuas diri atas capaian yang diraih saat ini. Ia minta OPD untuk tetap terus mempertankan dan meningkatkan sistem pengelolaan keuangan lebih baik lagi.
‘’Ini sangat penting bagi Pemkab untuk mewujudkan Pemerintahan yang bersih dan transparan demi kesejahteraan masyarakat,’’ katanya.
Tampak hadir di BPK RI Perwakilan Jambi selain Romi ada Ketua DPRD Mahrup, Sekda Sapril, Kaban BKD Nusirwan dan inspektur Hadi Firdaus.
