JAMBI – Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Faisal Reza mendampingi Gubernur Jambi Dr.H.Al Haris,S.Sos.,M.H, menyampaikan 7 usulan percepatan pembangunan proyek strategis Provinsi Jambi kepada Pemerintah Pusat guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Jambi.
Usulan itu disampaikan Al Haris pada Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Pembangunan Proyek Strategis di Provinsi Jambi, bertempat di Hotel Grand Hyaat Kav. 28-30 Jakarta Pusat, Senin (30/5).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Faisal Reza meminta Kementerian terkait mewujudkan usulan yang disampaikan Gubernur Jambi. Dia menilai Jambi sudah banyak menyumbang untuk nasional.
Selah satunya terkait perhitungan terbaru Petrochina Intl Jabung nomor 7 produksi minyak terbesar, dan gas nomor 9 terbesar di Indonesia.
“Artinya Jambi telah banyak menyumbang untuk nasional, namun, postur APBD masih kecil,” akunya.
Dia berharap Kementerian terus membantu usulan yang disampaikan oleh Pemprov Jambi itu, seperti pembangunan Pelabuhan Ujung Jabung dan pembangunan jembatan penghubung ke Pelabuhan Ujung Jabung sebesar Rp 200 miliar.
"Kalau pakai APBD berat. APBD Provinsi Jambi sudah banyak dikeluarkan untuk membangun Ujung Jabung,” akunya.
Dia juga berharap agar proyek ini jangan sampai mangkrak karena tak ada bantuan dana pusat.
“Ini yang harus didorong agar pelabuhan Ujung Jabung bisa bermanfaat. Silakan saja nantinya dalam skema Loan (pinjaman) atau juga investasi,” akunya.
Kemudian, terkait akses menuju jalan Tol, ada jalan nasional yang diperjuangkan DPR RI, yakni, Simpang Sungai Niam-Lubuk Kambing- Merlung, saat ini sedang dikerjakan.
“Akses ini bisa menembus langsung kawasan barat ke tol, yang aksesnya terdapat 73 km. Oleh karena itu percepatan pembangunan akan bantu kami provinsi Jambi,” tegasnya.
Tujuh usulan Pemprov Jambi itu yakni, pertama, percepatan pembangunan ruas Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera (JTTS) di Provinsi Jambi. Kedua, penetapan kawasan strategis nasional Candi Muaro Jambi. Ketiga, penetapan kawasan strategis pariwisata nasional Kerinci Seblat.
Keempat Penetapan Georpark Merangin menjadi World Herittage. Kelima, penetapan Kawasan Industri Kemiking sebagai Program Strategis Nasional.
Keenam, penetapan Kawasan Ekonomi Ujung Jabung sebagai Program Strategis Nasional. Ketujuh penetapan pembangunan bendungan Merangin sebagai Program Strategis Nasional.
