MUARABULIAN – Aksi spesialis bobol rumah kosong di Batanghari berakhir. Pelaku kini mendekam di sel tahanan Polres Batanghari usai diringkus personil Satreskrim Polres Batanghari.
Seperti yang disampaikan Kanit Pidum Polres Batanghari, Iptu Gegar Mahdi kepada media pada Senin (25/7/2022). Iptu Gegar Mahdi mejelaskan, pelaku ditangkap setelah adanya laporan korban ke Polres Batanghari. Dalam laporannya, korban mengaku sejumlah barang berharga yang ada di dalam rumahnya hilang dicuri. Atas laporan tersebut, Satreskrim Polres Batanghari langsung melakukan penyelidikan dan berhasil mengamankan seorang pria bernama Ade Irpan, yang diduga pelaku spesialis bongkar rumah kosong.
“Kasus pencurian rumah kosong ini berawal dari adanya laporan korban, yang mengaku sejumlah barang berharga di dalam rumahnya hilang dicuri. Atas laporan itu, Satreskrim Polres Batanghari langsung melakukan penyelidikan. Dan berhasil mengamankan seorang pria bernama Ade Irpan, yang diduga pelaku spesialis bongkar rumah kosong,” ujar Iptu Gegar Mahdi.
Iptu Gegar kembali menjelaskan, saat diintrogasi petugas, Ade Irpan mengaku kalau yang membongkar rumah di Kelurahan Teratai tersebut memang dirinya.
"Saat ini pelaku dan sejumlah barang bukti sudah diamankan di Polres Batanghari," katanya.
Kronologis pencokelan rumah kosong tersebut, kata Gegar, pelaku dalam menjalankan aksinya seorang diri dengan cara mencongkel jendela rumah warga saat pemilik rumah pergi ke Jawa. Setelah berhasil membuka rumah korban, pelaku langsung menguras sejumlah barang-barang berharga yang ditemukan didalam rumah korban," pungkasnya.
