MERANGIN - Bulan suci Ramadhan adalah bulan penuh berkah, yang biasanya dimanfaatkan oleh umat muslim untuk beribadah sebanyak-banyak guna mengharapkan ampunan dari Allah SWT. Namun, disisi lain pada bulan ramadhan juga biasanya identik dengan semankin meningkatnya tindak kejahatan. Biasanya hal tersebut terjadi dengan alasan himpitan ekonomi yang semakin meningkat. Hal tersebut juga terjadi diwilayah Lembah Masurai, dimana pada Minggu (02/04/2023) sekira pukul 20.00 WIB, Polsek Lembah Masurai berhasil meringkus pelaku spesialis pencuri biji buah kopi yang berada di Seberang Nilo Kecil Dusun Sei Tebal Desa Nilo Dingin, Kecamatan Lembah Masurai, Kabupaten Merangin. Tersangka yakni berinisial R (30) yang merupakan warga Dusun Sei Tebal Desa Nilo Dingin Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin. Tersangka R diringkus Personil Polsek Lembah Masurai setelah sebelumnya melakukan pencurian Biji Buah Kopi milik korban yakni Sdr JW (39) yang merupakan warga Dusun Sei Tebal Desa Nilo Dingin Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin, peristiwa tersebut bermula pada saat korban pergi kekebun kopi miliknya yang terletak Dusun Sei Tebal Desa Nilo Dingin Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin pada hari Minggu (02/04/2023) sekira pukul 10.00 WIB, namun pada saat itu korban mendapati biji buah kopi miliknya yang sebelumnya disimpan dipondok kebun sekira 100 Kg sudah tidak ada lagi dan sebelumnya korban juga sudah 3 kali kehilangan biji buah kopi dipondok tersebut, mengetahui hal tersebut selanjutnya korban melakukan pencarian dan pada saat dalam perjalanan pulang kedusun korban melihat tersangka sedang membawa sekarung kopi dan pada saat dikonfirmasi tersangka tidak mengakuinya. Selanjutnya korban melaporkan peristiwa tersebut ke Polsek Lembah Masurai untuk ditindak lanjuti . Tidak butuh waktu lama kurang dari 1x24 jam akhirnya tersangka pencurian biji buah kopi milik korban berhasil diringkus personil Polsek Lembah Masurai, hal tersebut terungkap berdasarkan keterangan dari korban sebelumnya yang menerangkan bahwa pada saat korban hendak pulang kedusun korban bertemu dengan seorang laki laki yang sedang membawa sekarung biji kopi. Akhirnya setelah dilakukan interogasi tersangka mengakui bahwa kopi yang sebelumnya dibawa oleh Tersangka didapat dengan cara mengambil dipondok milik korban. Kapolsek Lembah Masurai IPTU Rezi Darwis, SH. MM pada saat dikonfirmasi awak media membenarkan perihal penangkapan tersebut, Tersangka ditangkap berdasarkan Laporan Polisi dari korban perihal pencurian biji buah kopi miliknya. ’’Benar, pada Minggu (02/04/2023) sekira pukul 20.00 WIB kami berhasil menangkap seorang laki-laki berinisial R (39) warga Dusun Sei Tebal Desa Nilo Dingin Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin, Tersangka diamankan karena diduga melakukan tindak pidana pencurian biji buah kopi milik Sdr JW, untuk saat ini tersangka dan barang bukti kami amankan di Polsek Lembah Masurai guna proses penyidikan lebih lanjut” terang Kapolsek. Kapolsek menambahkan bahwa korban sebelumnya juga pernah kehilangan biji buah kopi miliknya yang disimpan dikebun dan ini merupakan respon cepat kami dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat untuk mencegah hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.
