JAMBI - Kebakaran melanda Museum Nasional, Jakarta Pusat dilanda kebakaran. Gedung A yang menjadi salah satu tempat penyimpanan koleksi pun terbakar.
Adapun hingga saat ini Museum nasional telah menyimpan 190.000an benda-benda bernilai sejarah yang terdiri dari 7 jenis koleksi yakni Prasejarah, Arkeologi masa Klasik atau Hindu - Budha; Numismatik dan Heraldik; Keramik; Etnografi, Geografi dan Sejarah.
Adanya kebakaran yang terjadi membuat khawatir waka DPRD Provinsi Jambi Pinto Jayanegara, karena ada salah satu koleksi yang berasal dari Provinsi Jambi yaitu Keris Siginjai.
Ia mangakatan bahwa saat ini keris siganjai berada di museum nasional dan menjadi khawatir keris tersebut ikut terbakar.
"Beberapa waktu yang lalu saya mengunjungi museum nasional melihat keris siginjai yang berasal dari jambi, dan ketika ada kabar kebakaran kita tentu khawatir keris siginjai kita apakah juga ikut terbakar oleh karena itu saya minta dinas terkait untuk konfirmasi ke
