MERANGIN - Terkait netralitas Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dalam menghadapi tahun politik 2024, Pj Bupati Merangin H Mukti bersama Penjabat kepala daerah lainnya di Indonesia, mengikuti pengarahan Mendagri secara daring, Jumat (17/11/23).
Dijelaskan Pj Bupati Merangin, pada pengarahannya Mendagri  Tito Karnavian minta kepada Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) di setiap daerah, untuk lebih ketat mengawasi para Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN), jelang Pemilu 2024.
‘’Pak Mendagri kembali mengingatkan kepada seluruh ASN, agar tidak terlibat dalam politik praktis dan tidak berpihak kepada calon peserta Pemilu. Intinya ASN harus netral,’’ terang Pj Bupati Merangin.
Mendagri  lanjut H Mukti, minta Bawaslu agar segera menindak oknum ASN yang terlibat atau ikut dalam politik praktis dan terbukti melanggar dengan melaporkannya ke Komisi ASN untuk diberi sanksi.
Beberapa sanksi yang disebutkan Mendagri jelas H Mukti, ASN bila terbukti terlibat ke dalam politik praktis atau melanggar, bisa dikenakan sanksi mulai dari sanksi administrasi, penundaan gaji dan penundaan kenaikan pangkat.
‘’Menurut Pak Mendagri ASN yang jelas-jelas terbukti terlibat melakukan politik praktis, bisa dilakukan sanksi-sanksi tegas setelah mendapatkan rekomendasi atau keputusan dari Bawaslu,’’ jelas H Mukti.
Bahkan sambung Pj Bupati Merangin berdasarkan keterangan Mendagri, pelanggaran terhadap netralitas ASN juga bisa mengarah ke tindak pidana. Bawaslu juga bisa merekomendasikan persoalan itu ke Tim Terpadu Penegakan Hukum Tindak Pidana Pemilu.
