JAMBI - Sejumlah kelompok UMKM di Kota Jambi bertemu dengan Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto dan anggota DPRD Kota Jambi, Sutiono, Minggu (19/11). Pertemuan ini dalam rangka reses Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto bersama dengan pelaku UMKM yang ada di Kota Jambi.
Sejumlah perwakilan kelompok UMKM ini antusias memanfaatkan momen reses Edi Purwanto ini untuk menyuarakan aspirasinya secara langsung. Perwakilan UMKM menyampaikan bahwa selama ini pemerintah banyak menggunakan panganan yang sudah dikenal, sementara UMKM rumahan sulit untuk masuk di pemerintahan.
Terhadap hal ini, pihaknya berharap ada perhatian kepada UMKM rumahan agar produk-produk mereka bisa masuk dalam setiap kegiatan-kegiatan pemerintahan. Ini kata perwakilan kelompok UMKM sebagai dorongan pemerintah untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang UMKM di Provinsi Jambi.
"Apa yang disampaikan oleh perwakilan kelompok UMKM tadi juga sebetulnya perlahan sudah kita lakukan, misalnya di DPRD itu saya pribadi sudah meminta agar UMKM rumahan ini kita libatkan setiap acara, misalnya pangganan, kue-kue, itu sudah kita lakukan sebetulnya," ujarnya.
Disisi lain, Edi Purwanto akan mencoba memformulasikan bagaimana kedepan, sektor pemerintahan juga bisa melakukan gerakan-gerakan untuk menumbuhkan UMKM rumahan ini. Sehingga diharapkan, UMKM yang awalnya kecil bisa tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi usaha besar.
Sementara itu, keluhan juga disampaikan oleh perwakilan yang juga tenaga pengajar terkait dengan kesejahteraan guru. Adapun persoalan yang disampaikan terkait dengan besaran gaji yang dirasa masih sangat minim untuk kesejahteraan mereka.
Pada kesempatan ini juga Edi Purwanto menyebut bahwa memang jumlah honorer guru sudah cukup banyak, sehingga sedikit kesulitan dalam penganggaran. Namun, dikatakan oleh Edi Purwanto bahwa dirinya sudah berbicara langsung dengan Menpan RB untuk guru honorer bisa masuk dalam peluang PPPK.
"Ini sudah saya bicarakan, dan ini sudah mulai pembukaan PPPK diperbanyak terutama guru, dan pak Menteri juga menyampaikan bahwa tahun depan insha allah, peluang guru honorer untuk PPPK ini lebih banyak, dan ini akan terus kita dorong kita perjuangkan," pungkasnya.
