Merangin-Begitu mendapat kabar Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) , akan berkunjung ke Kabupaten Merangin, Pj Bupati H Mukti langsung mengumpulkan para kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), gelar rapat persiapan, Sabtu (30/3/24).
Persiapan yang dilakukan dengan unsur Forkopimda Merangin di empat titik itu, mulai dari acara penyambutan di Stadiun KONI Merangin, kunjungan ke Pasar Rakyat, ke Rumah Sakil Daerah Kol Abundjani dan sampai ke Bulog Sarko.
‘’Kita semua tentunya berupaya menjadi tuan rumah  yang terbaik dan saya ingin acara ini berlangsung lancar dan aman. Untuk itu perlu dukungan Forkopimda dan semua para kepala OPD di jajaran Pemkab Merangin,’’ujar Pj Bupati Merangin H Mukti.
H Mukti minta di empat titik kunjunan Presiden Jokowi itu, segera disterilkan, baik itu untuk keamanannya maupun untuk kebersihan lokasi acara. Tidak ada lagi para pedagang yang berjualan di depan Bulog dan RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko.

H Mukti mengajak seluruh masyarakat Merangin untuk terlibat dalam acara tersebut, dengan menjaga kebersihan dan keamanan Kota Bangko. ‘’Ini mungkin kali pertama Predisen berkunjung ke Merangin, untuk itu mari kita sukseskan,’’ pinta H Mukti.
