JAMBI - Provinsi Jambi menjadi tuan rumah dalam pelaksanaan Musyawarah Nasional II Asosiasi DPRD Provinsi Seluruh Indonesia (ADPSI) dan Asosiasi Sekretaris DPRD Provinsi Seluruh Indonesia (ASDEPSI) di Swiss- Belhotel Jambi, Senin (22/7).
Munas ini secara resmi dibuka dengan pemukulan gong oleh Ketua ADPSI sekaligus Ketua DPRD Provinsi DKI Jakarta Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Edi Purwanto dalam kesempatan ini mengucapkan terima kasih karena Provinsi Jambi dipercaya untuk menjadi tuan rumah dalam menyelenggarakan Munas II ini.
Hadir pada kesempatan ini, Gubernur Jambi, Al Haris dan 19 Pimpinan DPRD dan Sekretaris DPRD dari 19 Provinsi di Indonesia. Edi Purwanto menyampaikan bahwa ditunjuknya Jambi sebagai tuan rumah dalam penyelenggaraan Munas II ini berdasarkan hasil rapat sebelumnya.
“Jambi ini di percaya untuk melaksanakan Musyararah Nasional ADPSI dan ASDEPSI dan memang ada beberapa hal strategis yang kita bahas dalam Munas ini selain membahas ADRT (ADPSI dan ASDEPSI) kita juga membahas kaitan dengan pemilihan ketua umum,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut disampaikan oleh Edi Purwanto bahwa setelah Munas di Jambi ini, akan ada lanjutan pembahasan akhir dalam pemilihan Ketua ADPSI dan ASDEPSI yang akan diselenggarakan pada Januari 2025 mendatang. Adapun kegiatan Munas II yang dilaksanakan selama tiga hari sebagai bagaian dari pengantar untuk pembahasan di Munas selanjutnya.
“Iya nanti di akhir, setelah rapat dari sini nanti akan ada munas terakhir di DKI Jakarta pada Januari akan dilaksanakan dan nanti itu lah pemilihan ketua umum yang baru. Tugas kami yang saat ini masih menjabat sebagai ketua dprd, dan ketua umum inilah kami mengantarkan ini sampai nanti ada ketua umum definitif,” pungkasnya.
Disisi lain dalam kesempatan ini, Edi Purwanto berharap nantinya yang akan menjadi ketua ADPSI bisa melanjutkan berbagai program dan kegiatan lainnnya. Harapannya keputusan-keputusan yang strategis bukan hanya untuk dprd tapi untuk masyarakat.
“Karena memang banyak dari kepengurusan sekarang itu kan tidak menjabat lagi sebagai Ketua DPRD. Kita berharap pelaksanaan Munas hari ini dan nantinya bisa berjalan dengan baik dan keputusan-keputusan yang diambil tidak hanya untuk DPRD tetapi rakyat yang kita cintai,” ucapnya.
Pada Munas ini, Edi Purwanto juga promosikan keberadaan Candi Muaro Jambi sebagai Candi terluas se Asia Tenggara.
Edi Purwanto menyampaikan bahwa ada beberapa tempat wisata di Provinsi Jambi yang dapat dikunjungi oleh peserta ADPSI dan ASDEPSI di sela-sela kunjungan dalam kegiatan Munas ini.
“Bapak ibu sekalian di Jambi kita ada Candi Muaro Jambi, bapak ibu dapat berkunjung ke Candi Muaro Jambi yang merupakan candi tertua dan terluas se Asia Tenggara dengan luas 3.981 hektar,” pungkasnya.
Disisi lain, Gubernur Jambi juga mengucapkan syukur dengan pemilihan Jambi sebagai tuan rumah pelaksanaan ADPSI dan ASDEPSI. Hal ini diharapkan memberikan multiplier effect pada bidang ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi. Sementara itu, Ketua ADPSI sekaligus Ketua DPRD Provinsi DKI Jakarta Prasetyo Edi Marsudi berharap pelaksanaan Munas II ini bisa berjalan dengan baik dan diharapkan
