JAMBI - Wakil Gubernur Jambi, Drs. H. Abdullah Sani, M.Pd.I, menyampaikan ucapan terimakasih dengan dipersiapkannya Provinsi Jambi sebagai wilayah percontohan dalam penanganan penanggulangan karhutla (kebakaran hutan dan lahan) di Indonesia. Ucapan terimakasih tersebut disampaikan Wagub saat menghadiri Rapat Koordinasi Analisis Kebijakan Penanggulangan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan di Provinsi Jambi, bertempat di Hotel BW Luxury, Kamis (25/07/2024).
“Atas nama Gubernur saya ucapkan terima kasih atas kalaborasi dari semua pihak untuk mengatasi karhutla di Provinsi Jambi dalam melindungi masyarakat Provinsi Jambi,” ujar Wagub Sani.
Dalam pemaparannya Wagub Sani menyampaikan bahwa Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jambi pada tahun sebelumnya berhasil dalam pencegahan karhutla, untuk itu Pemerintah Pusat akan menjadikan Provinsi Jambi sebagai Kla Projek penanggulangan karhutla. “Upaya pencegahan sekaligus pengendalian kebakaran hutan dan lahan atau karhutla diwilayah Provinsi Jambi dinilai telah dilakukan secara komprehensif. Provinsi Jambi akan dijadikan proyek percontohan pengendalian kebakaran hutan dan lahan karena berhasil menekan luas kebakaran hutan dan lahan,” ungkap Wagub Sani.
Wagub Sani menjelaskan, Provinsi Jambi ditutupi lebih dari 2 juta hektar atau 43% kawasan hutan (berdasarkan (Surat Keputusan Menteri LHK Nomor 6613 Tahun 2021 tentang Perkembangan Pengukuhan Kawasan Hutan sampai dengan tahun 2020 Provinsi Jambi). "Tutupan Lahan Gambut Provinsi Jambi seluas lebih dari 852 hektar, yang tersebar di 4 (empat) kabupaten, yaitu Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dan Kabupaten Sarolangun," jelas Wagub Sani.
"Sementara itu, sebagian besar wilayah di Provinsi Jambi sangat rawan akan kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla), ini kilas balik karhutla di Provinsi Jambi tahun 2023. Titik panas (hot spot) muncul sepanjang tahun dan tersebar merata di 11 kabupaten/kota sebanyak 4.157 titik, dengan jumlah terbanyak di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat (885 titik) dan Kabupaten Batang Hari (863 titik)," sambung Wagub Sani.
"Sampai dengan 30 November 2023, tercatat 1.414,89 hektar hutan dan lahan terbakar pada tahun 2023. Kejadian karhutla terdapat pada 9 (sembilan) kabupaten/kota dengan jumlah terbanyak di Kabupaten Sarolangun (202 kejadian)," imbuh Wagub Sani.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut Wagub Sani juga mengimbau agar seluruh elemen harus saling berkoordinasi dan bekerja sama dalam penanganan karhutla. “Saya imbau semuanya untuk tetap siaga dan waspada, kita lakukan upaya antisipasi sedini mungkin, sehingga tidak terjadi lagi karhutla di Provinsi Jambi,” imbau Wagub Sani.
Wagub Sani menuturkan bahwa dalam penanggulangan karhutla 2023 lalu telah dilakukan berbagai kegiatan. “Antara lain membuka 59 posko terpadu satgas karhutla di 6 (enam) kabupaten. Posko beroperasi selama 4 bulan Pendanaan dari APBD Provinsi Jambi dan Dunia Usaha Perusahaan perkebunan/kehutanan penganggung jawab posko. Kemudiaan Pelibatan multi stakeholders (BPBD, Manggala Agni, TNI, POLRI, Instansi terkait, dan Masyarakat),” tutur Wagub Sani.
Wagub Sani juga menambahkan, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi telah mencanangkan berbagai program pencegahan kebakaran hutan, tiga diantaranya yaitu, Pengendalian dan Penanggulangan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan, Pengelolaan Tahura (Taman Hutan Rakyat), serta Pembinaan Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Bencana Alam, Dampak Lingkungan serta Percontohan Penerapan PLTB (Pembukaan Lahan Tanpa Bakar).
Sementara itu, Asisten Deputi 4/V Kamtibmas Kemenko Polhukam Brigjen TNI Desman Sujaya Tarigan dalam sambutannya saat membuka Rakor ini mengatakan bahwa keberhasilan Provinsi Jambi dalam menanggulangi karhutla menjadi perhatian Kemenko Polhukam dan akan dipersiapkan menjadi wilayah percontohan di Indonesia. “Sistem koordinasi dan penanggulangan karhutla di Jambi sangat baik. Dengan menjadikan daerah ini percontohan, daerah lain akan belajar dan masalah karhutla di Indonesia dapat ditangani lebih baik,” katanya.
Dirinya juga menambahkan bahwa dalam kaitan penanggulangan karhutla ditekankan beberapa kewajiban daerah seperti menyusun peraturan daerah, mengoptimalkan peran BPBD sebagai koordinator dan penyiapan dana operasional.
Turut hadir dalam Rapat Koordinasi Analisis Kebijakan Penanggulangan Kebakaran Hutan dan Lahan di Provinsi Jambi ini diantaranya Danrem 042 Gapu Brigjen TNI Rachmad, S.I.P., Kapolda Jambi diwakili Kombes Edi. R Karo OPT Polda Jambi, Kepala BPBD Provinsi Jambi Bachyuni Deliansyah serta semua Lembaga pemerintah yang berkaitan dengan karhutla termasuk BRGM, BMKG, Kemendagri dan para tamu undangan lainnya.
