JAMBI - Gubernur Jambi, Al Haris, melaksanakan kegiatan subuh keliling di Masjid Raya Baitusalam, Desa Kunkai, Kecamatan Bangko, Kabupaten Merangin pada Jum'at pagi. (6/9).
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Al Haris melaksanakan sholat subuh berjamaah bersama masyarakat dan anak-anak sekolah setempat.
Usai melaksanakan ibadah, Gubernur Al Haris memberikan bantuan dana Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dari Bank 9 Jambi sebesar Rp. 25.000.000 untuk renovasi masjid. Selain itu, ia juga menyantuni anak-anak yatim dan kaum duafa di Desa Kunkai.
Gubernur Al Haris mengungkapkan, masjid raya baitusalam merupakan masjid tertua di merangi.
"Ini adalah masjid tertua di Merangin, dengan desain miniatur yang sudah sangat tua dan terbuat dari kayu," kata Al Haris.
Kami ingin mengajak anak-anak masyarakat dan siswa SMA/SMK di sini untuk rutin sholat berjamaah di masjid ini. Selain itu, kami juga berharap gerakan subuh ini dapat memotivasi generasi muda untuk mencintai masjid, memiliki akhlak mulia, dan mental yang kuat," tambahnya.
Dengan semangat dan iman yang kokoh, mereka diharapkan dapat menjadi generasi penerus yang berkualitas.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Gubernur Al Harus untuk mempererat hubungan antara pemerintah dan masyarakat serta meningkatkan semangat keagamaan di daerah tersebut.
