MERANGIN - Bupati Merangin, H. M Syukur bersama Kadis Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Merangin Zulhifni, meninjau kondisi Jalan Rangkayo Hitam tepatnya di depan Hotel Keenan Bangko, Rabu (05/3).
‘’Sengaja saya turun ke Jalan Rangkayo Hitam ini untuk melihat langsung konisi dan situasi di lapangan. Jalan ini paritnya tidak ada atau memang mampet, nanti Dinas PUPR Merangin akan segera mengeceknya,’’ ujar Bupati.
Dari peninjauan tersebut, bupati menemukan genangan air di badan jalan, karena parit jalan tersebut tidak ada atau tidak berfungsi. Kondisi itu sangat mengganggu jalannya arus lalulintas di jalan tersebut.
Untuk itu bupati minta Kadis PUPR Merangin Zulhifni dapat menuntaskan dengan cepat terjadinya genangan air tersebut. Diakui bupati meskipun saat ini masih terkendala anggaran, tapi jalan itu setidaknya nyaman untuk dilalui.
‘’Saya bersama Kadis PUPR Merangin akan berusaha bagaiakan masyarakat bisa nyaman melewati jalan ini, sehingga Kota Bangko juga menjadi bersih dan indah dipandang,’’ ujar Bupati dibenarkan Kadis PUPR Merangin.
Selain itu bupati masih bersama Kadis PUPR Merangin juga meninjau munculnya genangan air di badan jalan kawasan Pasar Bawah Bangko. Genangan air itu diketahui terjadi karena ada saluran air yang tersumbat.
Terkait hal itu, bupati juga mengintruksikan Kadis PUPR Merangin bisa cepat menuntaskan persoalan itu, sehingga jalan itu nyaman dilalui masyarakat. Apalagi jalan itu merupakan urat nadi perekonomian masyarakat Kota Bangko.
