SAROLANGUN – Kamis, 06 Maret 2025, sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB, Bupati Sarolangun, didampingi oleh Pabung Kodim 0420/Sarko Mayor Chk Dedy Afrizal, SH.,MH, bersama Forkopimda Kabupaten Sarolangun melakukan peninjauan langsung ke lokasi-lokasi yang terdampak banjir di Kecamatan Pauh. Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung hingga selesai dengan tujuan untuk melihat kondisi masyarakat yang terdampak dan memberikan bantuan yang diperlukan. Lokasi yang dikunjungi meliputi Kelurahan Pauh, Desa Batu Kucing, Desa Batu Ampar, dan Desa Karang Mendapo, yang seluruhnya mengalami dampak signifikan dari banjir. Dalam kesempatan ini, Bupati Sarolangun bersama rombongan memberikan bantuan langsung kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan, termasuk kebutuhan dasar dan sembako untuk meringankan beban mereka yang terdampak. Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini sejumlah pejabat dan aparat terkait, di antaranya, Bupati Sarolangun, Wakil Bupati Sarolangun, Kapolres Sarolangun, Pabung Kodim 0420/Sarko, Kepala Dinas dan OPD Pemkab Sarolangun, Kalak BPBD Kabupaten Sarolangun, Kepala Cabang Bank 9 Jambi Wilayah Sarolangun, Kasat Intel Polres Sarolangun, Camat Pauh, Kapolsek Pauh, serta Kepala Desa Batu Kucing, Batu Ampar, dan Karang Mendapo. Selain melakukan peninjauan, pemerintah daerah melalui tim tanggap darurat juga terus mengupayakan pemulihan dan memberikan dukungan bagi masyarakat yang terdampak bencana. Bupati Sarolangun, dalam sambutannya, menekankan pentingnya gotong-royong dan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana alam yang sering terjadi di wilayah tersebut. Masyarakat yang hadir juga menyampaikan rasa terima kasih atas perhatian dan bantuan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah daerah serta semua pihak yang terlibat dalam penanganan bencana ini.
