SAROLANGUN - Bupati Sarolangun, H. Hurmin dan wakilnya Gerry Trisatwika serta jajaran Forkompinda turun meninjau masyarakat terdampak banjir di Kecamatan Pauh dan Mandiangin, Kamis (6/3).
Di Pauh sendiri, orang nomor satu di Sarolangun ini menyambangi beberapa wilayah antara lain, Desa Karmen, Batu Ampar, Batu Kucing dan Kelurahan Pauh.
Tak sekedar datang, H Hurmin juga menyerahkan bantuan makanan cepat saji serta tenda bantuan dari Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD).
Beranjak dari Pauh, Hurmin bersama Kapolres Sarolangun AKBP Budi Prasetya dan Dandim 0420/Sarko Letkol Inf Suyono melanjutkan perjalanan Desa Gurun Simpang dan Desa Mandiangin Kecamatan Mandiangin dalam agenda serupa.
Ia berharap, bantuan yang disalurkan Pemerintah Daerah bisa bermanfaat bagi masyarakat yang rumahnya masih di genangi air.
“Ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian kami Pemerintah Daerah kepada masyarakat yang di landa musibah banjir,” kata Bupati Sarolangun.
“Ada mie instan, beras dan bantuan makanan cepat saji dari Kementrian Sosial,”Hurmin menambahkan.
Sama halnya dengan Pemkab Sarolangun. Melalui Kapolres Sarolangun AKBP Budi Prasetya, polisi juga menyerahkan bantuan bahan pokok bersamaan dengan Pemerintah Kabupaten Sarolangun.
“Ini bentuk kepedulian Kami Kepolisian kepada masyarakat yang huniannya di Landa banjir, mungkin jumlahnya tidak seberapa tapi ini bentuk keikhlasan polisi dalam mengayomi dan hadir di tengah masyarakat yang membutuhkan,” kata AKBP Budi Prasetya.
