KUALA TUNGKAL – Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat kembali menjadi sorotan nasional dalam hal tata kelola keuangan daerah. Kali ini, spotlight tidak tertuju pada prestasi, melainkan pada audit ketat dari Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) RI. Pada Senin (31/8/2026), Tim Pemeriksa BPK Perwakilan Provinsi Jambi resmi memulai entry meeting Pemeriksaan Dengan Tujuan Tertentu (PDTT) atas kepatuhan pengelolaan dana bidang pendidikan tahun anggaran 2025 hingga Semester I 2026.
Yang membuat momen ini istimewa sekaligus menegangkan: Tanjab Barat adalah satu-satunya kabupaten di seluruh Provinsi Jambi yang dipilih sebagai objek pemeriksaan tematik ini, di antara 24 kabupaten/kota lain di Pulau Jawa dan Sumatera. Sebuah kehormatan sekaligus ujian besar bagi integritas birokrasi lokal.
Wakil Bupati Dr. H. Katamso, S.E., M.E., mewakili Bupati Anwar Sadat yang sedang sibuk memadamkan titik panas karhutla bersama Gubernur Jambi, menyambut tim pemeriksa dengan sikap terbuka. “Kami meminta kepada seluruh perangkat daerah terkait untuk menyiapkan data-data yang dibutuhkan. Terhadap pemeriksaan lapangan juga kami minta dipersiapkan dengan sebaik-baiknya,” tegas Katamso. Ia menegaskan bahwa Pemkab Tanjab Barat tidak takut dibedah, karena tujuan utamanya adalah perbaikan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan.
Apa yang Diperiksa? Bukan Sekadar Dinas Pendidikan
Ketua Tim Pemeriksa BPK, Yohanes Harry Kusmono A.C., menjelaskan bahwa fokus audit kali ini sangat spesifik dan mendalam. Lingkupnya meliputi:
* Dana BOSDA, BOS Reguler, BOS Afirmasi, dan BOS Kinerja.
* Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan (BOP) PAUD dan Pendidikan Kesetaraan.
* Dana peningkatan sarana prasarana, rehabilitasi, dan pembangunan sekolah.
* Proses perencanaan, penganggaran, penyaluran, hingga pertanggungjawaban.
Uniknya, pemeriksaan ini tidak hanya menyasar Dinas Pendidikan, tetapi juga merambah ke OPD lain yang terlibat dalam ekosistem pendanaan pendidikan, seperti BPKAD, Bappeda, dan Inspektorat. Namun, belanja pegawai dan honorarium dikecualikan sesuai arahan pimpinan pusat BPK.
Dari 31 Agustus hingga 29 September: Bulan Penentuan
Selama kurang lebih 30 hari ke depan, tim auditor akan bekerja intensif melakukan verifikasi dokumen, rekonsiliasi data, hingga turun langsung ke lapangan. Hasil dari PDTT ini akan menjadi cermin kejujuran dan efisiensi pemerintah daerah dalam mengelola uang rakyat untuk masa depan anak-anak Tanjab Barat.
“Kami tentunya sangat terbuka terhadap masukan-masukan dari BPK. Kami berharap hasil pemeriksaan nantinya dapat menjadi evaluasi dan memberikan bimbingan bagi kami untuk melakukan perbaikan ke depan,” ujar Wabup Katamso.
Pemilihan Tanjab Barat sebagai satu-satunya wakil Jambi dalam audit nasional ini mengirimkan sinyal kuat: BPK melihat potensi risiko atau pentingnya pengawasan ekstra di sektor pendidikan daerah ini. Apakah Tanjab Barat akan lulus dengan predikat "Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian" dalam aspek kepatuhan, ataukah akan ditemukan celah-celah administratif yang perlu diperbaiki?
Masyarakat kini menunggu. Transparansi adalah kunci. Jika dana pendidikan dikelola dengan bersih, maka generasi muda Tanjab Barat lah yang akan memanen hasilnya berupa sekolah yang layak, guru yang sejahtera, dan ilmu yang berkualitas. Langkah kooperatif Pemkab Tanjab Barat hari ini adalah bukti bahwa mereka siap menjawab tantangan akuntabilitas tersebut.
