MUARABULIAN - Bupati Batanghari, Ir Syahirsah Sy pada Jum'at sore (29/3/2019) mendadak menggelar jumpa pers di rumah dinas Bupati Batanghari.
Dalam keterangan persnya kepada media Bupati Batanghari Syahirsah, melaporkan Kepala Desa Pompa Air, kecamatan Bajubang, kabupaten Batanghari, Indra, ke pihak kepolisian akibat memberikan pernyataan palsu kepada salah satu wartawan media harian nasional yang dinilai pencemaran nama baik.
Bupati saat itu menuturkan, awalnya salah satu media harian nasional menerbitkan pemberitaan mengenai ilegal drilling tanggal 27 Maret 2019 dengan judul "Transaksi Minyak Ilegal Capai Miliaran Rupiah" dan tanggal 29 Maret 2019 dengan judul "Hasil Tambang Ilegal Dipasok ke SPBU".
" Saya tegaskan sampai saat ini, bahwa surat dari kepala desa mohon izin, itu tidak ada. Dan saya tegaskan bahwa kewenangan dalam hal perizinan ilegal drilling tidak ada pada pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari," tegas Syahirsah.
Syahirsah menyebut dalam pemberitaan tersebut menuliskan bahwa Kepala Desa Pompa Air telah mengajukan permohonan pertambangan rakyat kepada Bupati Batanghari. Akan tetapi usulan itu belum disetujui hingga kini.
Dirinya sangat menyesali pemberitaan tersebut, karena keterangan dari Kepala Desa Pompa Air tanpa ada konfirmasi kepada dirinya.(ist/mon)
