KUALATUNGKAL - Tulisan taman di Taman Persitaj Kuala Tungkal rusak, semestinya fasilitas harus dimanfaatkan dengan baik dan tanggung jawab bersama. Pantauan di lapangan, tulisan taman di Taman Persitaj mengalami kerusakan. Kerusakan tersebut tampak dengan hilangnya huruf 'T' pada taman tersebut.
Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat melalui Dinas perumahan dan pemukiman (Perkim), plt kadis perkim Cipto Hamonongan S. Sos. MH mengatakan sangat menyayangkan rusaknya taman persitad yang ada di Jalan Siswa Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir. Menurutnya, seharusnya sarana itu dipelihara dan dijaga karena fasilitas tersebut dibangun untuk masyarakat dan harus ada kepedulian serta menjadi tanggung jawab bersama.
Cipto berharap peran serta masyarakat dalam menjaga agar bisa dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat umum dengan gratis, menjadi ruang rekreasi, dan menjadi wadah interaksi masyarakat serta menjadi ikon daerah.
"Peran serta masyarakat secara konkret dengan tidak merusak fasilitas taman kota, menjaga kebersihan dan tidak mencorat coret yang mengurangi estetika yang sudah ada," katanya.
Untuk kerusakan yang terjadi, Perkim akan segera melakukan perbaikan demi mengembalikan makna dari taman tersebut. "Secepatnya kita akan perbaiki kasian masyarakat yang akan menggunakanya," ujarnya.
Setelah diperbaiki, Cipto berharap taman persitad lebih dijaga lagi. Dia berharap oknum yang melakukan pengrusakan diberikan kesadaran. " Mudah-mudahan oknum orang yang iseng segera diberikan hidayah," pungkas cipto.
