Jalan Sungai Penuh Later W yang mengalami kerusakan
KERINCI- Kondisi jalan Sungai Penuh- Leter W yang merupakan proyek Preservasi yang dilaksanakan BPJN di Kerinci, terus menuai polemik.
Sejumlah anggota DPRD Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh yang memprotes kerusakan jalan dengan nilai Rp 16,2 milyar yang baru seumur jagung.
Kondisi jalan yang demikian tentunya bakal menjadi batu ganjaran dan merusak nama baik Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh sebagai ikon pariwisata Provinsi Jambi, serta bisa jadi batu sandungan bagi Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh yang masuk dalam rute Tour de Singkarak.
Tidak hanya anggota DPRD Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh saja, sejumlah tokoh Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh meminta kepada Pemkab Kerinci dan Sungai Penuh bersikap tegas, terutama terhadap kontraktor pelaksana dan BPJN untuk melaksanakan Preservasi Jalan Sungai Penuh-Leter W.
"Kami tidak paham dengan material jalan, bagus atau tidak nya, namun yang kita mau jalan bagus. Jangan sampai nama kerinci rusak pas even Tour de singkarak, dan Festival Kerinci nantinya yang dikunjungi turis dari dalam maupun luar daerah,"ungkap Adlin Aktivis Muda Kerinci.
Untuk itu, dia berharap pemkab dan DPRD Kerinci bisa bersikap tegas kepada pihak ketiga selaku pelaksana maupun pihak BPJN selaku pengelola.
"Meski pembangunannya dari dana APBN, tapi dibangun di wilayah kita. Jika tidak disikapi nama daerah kita juga yang rusak nantinya," terangnya.
Hal yang hampir sama disampaikan tokoh muda Kota Sungai Penuh, Miko yang juga mendesa Pemkot Sungai Penuh dan DPRD Sungai Penuh untuk merekomendasikan dan mendesak pihak ketiga dan BPJN untuk memperbaiki kondisi jalan.
"Jika alasannya jalan retak karena adanya pipa air warga di bawah jalan, harusnya pihak ketiga bisa mengantisipasinya. Kita harus segera bertindak, kalai perlu laporkan ke Kementerian," tegasnya.
