KUALATUNGKAL - Kabupaten Tanjungjabung Barat yang terdiri dari 13 Kecamatan dan 134 Desa/Kelurahan memiliki rasio elektrifikasi paling rendah di provinsi jambi sampai tahun 2018 yaitu sebesar 72,17 persen.
"Dimana masih terdapat 31 Desa yang belum dapat menikmati pelayanan listrik PLN karena terkendala oleh kondisi geografis," ungkap Wakil Bupati Tanjabbar, H Amir Sakib pada acara pendistribusian Lampu Tenaga Surya Hemat Energi (LTSHE) oleh Provinsi Jambi, di Gedung Runtuh Kualatungkal, Senin (29/7).
Untuk itu LTSHE hadir yang merupakan perangkat pencahayaan berupa lampu dari matahari ditangkap oleh panel surya, diubah menjadi energi listrik kemudian disimpan di dalam baterai. Energi listrik di dalam baterai ini yang kemudian digunakan untuk masyarakat khusus nya tanjabbar.
"Banyak desa di Tanjabbar yang masih belum bisa menikmati listrik, pada malam hari gelap gulita, ini langkah awal bagi desa yang mendapat pendistribusian, agar memanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya listrik dengan hemat," pungkasnya.
Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi menyerahkan pendistribusian Lampu Tenaga Surya Hemat Energi (LTSHE) kepada pemerintah kabupaten Tanjung jabung barat, Senin (29/07/2019).
Penyerahan pendistribusian di hadiri oleh Wakil Bupati Tanjabbar, Drs H Amir Sakib yang di dampingi oleh Anggota DPD RI Abu Bakar Jamalia, Gubernur jambi yang di dampingi staf ahli bidang ekonomi dan pembangunan, kepala ESDM Provinsi Jambi, Kapolres Tanjabbar dan perwakilan kepala OPD Tanjabbar.
Dalam sambutannya kepala dinas ESDM Provinsi jambi, harry andria mengatakan kabupaten Tanjabbar masih banyak yang belum menikmati listrik di desa-desa tanjabbar.
“Perpres 47/2017 ini mengatur ketentuan terkait penyediaan, pengawasan distribusi, peran Pemerintah Pusat dan Pemerintah Daerah serta aturan terkait badan usaha pelaksana penyedia LTSHE,” tegasnya.
Amir sakib berterima kasih kepada pemerintah provinsi jambi karena telah memberi LTSHE untuk masyarakat Tanjabbar yang belum dapat menikmati listrik.
"Sumber energi listrik terbarukan yang digunakan untuk penerangan rumah tangga yang akhirnya dapat membawa perubahan sosial dan kondisi ekonomi termasuk perubahan pola tingkah laku dan pola interaksi," tutupnya.
Untuk diketahui ada 3 kecamatan yang mendapatkan bantuan Lampu Tenaga Surya Hemat Energi (LTSHE) yaitu, Kecamatan senyerang, desa marga rukun sebanyak 835 KK dan desa kempas jaya sebanyak 777 KK. Kecamatan pengabuan, desa sungai jering sebanyak 320 KK, desa parit sidang sebanyak 385 KK) dan desa raya sebanyak 363 KK.Kecamatan seberang kota, desa kuala baru sebanyak 143.
