BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Satreskrim Polres Batanghari kini tengah mendalami kasus penemuan mayat laki-laki yang tergantung di bawah tiang panggung pondasi bekas gedung Sekolah Dasar di Rt.10 Kelurahan Pasar Baru, kecamatan Muarabulian, kabupaten Batanghari, Sabtu (3/8/3019).
Kasat Reskrim Polres Batanghari, AKP. Dhadhag Anindito mengatakan, pihaknya mendapatkan laporan penemuan mayat seorang pemuda yang tewas gantung diri pada pukul 12.00 Wib, oleh warga sektar.
Kemudian pihaknya langsung melakukan olah TKP untuk mengungkap kasus penemuan mayat tersebut.
" Terkait dengan identitas korban saat ini pihak Kepolisian belum bisa memastikan. Namun, ada beberapa orang sudah mengenali identitas korban dan pihak keluarga juga sudah mengenali korban," kata Kasatreskrim Polres Batanghari.
Untuk tindakan selanjutnya, kata Kasatreskrim, pihak kepolisian akan melaksanakan visum kerumah sakit dan pihak kepolisian akan melakukan pengembangan lebih lanjut," katanya.
Sebelumnya warga di RT.10 Kelurahan Pasar Baru, dihebohkan dengan penemuan mayat seorang pemuda yang tergantung di bawah tiang pondasi bekas bangunan Sekolah Dasar yang bertempat di jalan AMD Muarabulian.
Menurut salah seorang warga berinisial 'S' yang melihat kejadian tersebut mengatakan, kejadian tersebut diketahui kira-kitra sekitar pukul 12.00 wib. Dia mengetahui hal ini saat melintas di jalan belakang Pasar Baru. Ia heran melihat orang ramai di gedung bekas bangunan SD tersebut, saat ia mendatangi ternyata ada jasad seorang pemuda yang tewas gantung diri.
Menurut salah satu rekan sekaligus keluarga korban, Rizal mengatakan bahwa korban tersebut bernama Akbar (16), warga Desa Pompa Air, kecamatan Bajubang, kabupaten Batanghari. Korban sendiri masih duduk di bangku sekolah kelas 3 SMKN 7 Desa Pompa Air.(ist/mon)
