BATANGHARINEWS.COM- Menjelang pelaksanaan hari raya Idul Adha 1440 H/2019 M, pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari melalui Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan kabupaten Batanghari, jika tidak ada halangan H-2 lebaran nanti, akan menurunkan tim hari besar keagamaan nasional (HKBN) guna mengecek hewan ternak yang akan dipotong seperti ternak sapi dan kerbau.
Hal ini dikatakan Kepala Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Batanghari, Irwan AM.d SP melalui Kabid Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan, Yannofa, saat dikonfirmasi harian ini diruang kerjanya baru-baru ini.
Yannofa saat ditemui kemarin mengatakan, tim HKBN yang berjumlah lebih kurang 24 orang itu diturunkan pada H-2 hingga lebaran nanti. Mereka nantinya akan bekerja untuk mengecek kesehatan hewan ternak yang akan dipotong sebelum dan sesudah hewan dipotong.
“ Tim ini langsung turun ketiap-tiap pasar tradisional yang ada di Batanghari, seperti Keramat Tinggi dan PU Muaratembesi,” ucapnya.
Jika ditemui keganjilan terhadap hewan kurban yang telah dipotong, maka daging tidak diperbolehkan untuk diedarkan dan dikomsumsi oleh warga.
“ Kami akan melarang peredaran daging itu, karena daging itu berbahaya bagi kesehatan apabila dikomsumsi manusia,” jelasnya.
Menurutnya, pemeriksaan sebelum pemotongan hewan (ante morten) meliputi pemeriksaan seluruh badan, yang dinilai dari kepala hingga kaki hewan kurban. Setelah diperiksakan hewan itu layak potong barulah diberikan surat keterangan kesehatan hewan (SKKH) petanda hewan itu sehat dan boleh dipotong,” jelasnnya.
Kemudian, lanjutnya, setelah pemotongan dilakukan pengecekan kualitas kesehatan daging, jika pada daging yang telah dipotong itu yang dilihat dari kondisinya terlihat dengan mata. Misalnya ada perubahan pada paru-paru, hati dan limpah mengacu pada kondisi normal, seperti limpah bengkak dan ukurannya menjadi dua kali lipat dari ukuran satndar normal, tentunya bisa dicurigai daging itu terjangkit penyakit Antrax. Hal seperti inilah daging itu tidak boleh dikomsumsi warga.
“ Tujuan kami melakukan pengecekan ini tak lain untuk menjaga kesterilan dan jaminan kesehatan hewan ternak, agar tidak menimbulkan hal yang kurang baik dibelakang hari nanti bagi kesehatan warga yang mengkomsumsinya,” tandasnya.(*)
