MUARABULIAN - Wakil Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) kabupaten Batanghari, Hj. Yunninta Asmara SH didampingi pihak Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Batanghari, Basarnas dan Damkar Batanghari pada Senin (12/8/2019), turun langsung ke tempat kejadian korban tenggelam di desa Malapari, kecamatan Muarabulian.
Kedatangan Wakil Ketua DPRD Batanghari ke lokasi kejadian, sekira pukul 13.00 WIB. Setibanya di lokasi, Waka DPRD Batanghari secara langsung menyambangi kediaman orang tua bocah korban tenggelam di desa Malapari tersebut.
Informasi yang dihimpun dari pihak BPBD Batanghari menyebutkan, sebelum menyambangi kediaman orang tua korban, Waka DPRD Batanghari mendatangi pinggiran sungai Batanghari, tempat posko pencarian korban yang didirikan BPBD kabupaten Batanghari.
Dimana saat itu tampak warga setempat juga turut berjaga di sekitar lokasi tenggelamnya bocah malang yang berumur delapan tahun tersebut. Warga setempat yang notabanenya tetangga juga tampak berada di rumah korban.
M. Yani, ayah korban tengeglam mengaku sangat sedih atas kejadian yang menimpa anaknya tersebut. Rasa sedih tersebut disampaikan Yani kepada Waka DPRD Batanghari.
“ Sedih kami Bu, tapi ini memang jalan Allah,” ujar Yani kepada Waka DPRD Batanghari.
Sementara ibu korban tampak sangat terpukul dan hanya bisa meratap. “ Sedih nian, ibunya yang melihat kejadian langsung,” kata warga.(*)
