BATANGHARINEWS.COM – Kecamata Muara Papalik secara geografis terdiri dari hamparan tanah yang konturnya berbukit-bukit dan sebagian besar mata pencaharian penduduknya berkebun sawit.
Daerah ini termasuk daerah kering dan sulit air bersih karena untuk mendapatkan air yang layak konsumsi harus membuat sumur bor sampai kedalaman 100 m eter. Sejak Tahun 2017 MontD’Or Oil Tungkal, salah satu Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) yang mempunyai wilayah operasi di daerah tersebut telah melaksanakan program Tanggung Jawab Sosial yang merupakan bagian dari Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Pada tanggal 14 Agustus 2019 SKK Migas – MontD’Or Oil Tungkal telah menyerahkan bangunan berupa Menara Air berkapasitas 32 M3 dan sumur bor kepada masyarakat Desa Dusun Mudo. Dari tower air tersebut Pemerintah Desa Dusun Mudo membuat jaringan pipa paralon untuk 40 rumah warga menggunakan anggaran Desa, sedangkan tanahnya adalah hibah dari masyarakat.
Manajemen MontD’Or dalam laporannya menyampaikan bahwa sumur tersebut merupakan sumur Bor ke 4 (empat) yang pernah dibuat di wilayah Desa Dusun Mudo, termasuk bantuan untuk Lingkungan Sekolah Dasar dan SMAN 4. Saat ini sumur bor ke 5 (lima) sedang dikerjakan untuk menambah kapasitas debit air yang sudah ada.
Dalam sambutannya, SKK Migas Perwakilan Sumbagsel yang diwakili oleh Bapak Ahmad Rivai berharap program Tanggung Jawab Sosial ini dapat dirawat dan dijaga agar manfaatnya tetap dirasakan oleh masyarakat Ring-1 dan mengapresiasi Pemerintah Desa yang secara bersama-sama MontD’Or telah melaksanakan program bersama.
Camat Muara Papalik, Drs Riduan, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terima kasih kepada SKK Migas – MontD’Or yang sejak awal operasi di wilayahnya telah berbuat banyak dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat sekitar, Camat berharap masyarakat menjaga bantuan yang sudah diberikan dan senantiasa membantu agar kegiatan MontD’Or untuk mendapatkan minyak bumi di wilayahnya dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi kebutuhan energi bagi masyarakat Indonesia. Pada hari yang sama, Camat Muara Papalik juga membuka Turnamen Terbuka (Open Tournament) Sepakbola Kepala Desa Dusun Mudo Cup yang di support oleh SKK Migas – MontD’Or Oil Tungkal dan diikuti oleh 46 klub sepakbola lintas Kabupaten.(ist )
