MUAROJAMBI-Polres Muaro Jambi mengamankan tersangka pelaku pelecehan seksual yang sudah cukup lama menjadi buronan. Pelaku yang diamankan itu berinisial MU (21), Warga desa Gerunggung, Kecamatan Sekernan.
" Ya sudah kita amankan, dia kita tangkap saat sedang bekerja di salah satu dealer di Sengeti," kata Kasat Reskrim Polres Muaro Jambi melalui Kanit PPA, Ipda Yoga Prawira Mukti, Sabtu (7/9).
Yoga Prawira Mukti mengatakan, tersangka berinisal MU ditangkap pada Kamis (5/9). Penangkapan yang berlangsung sekira pukul 14.30 WIB itu berjalan tanpa adanya perlawanan.
" Dia langsung kita bawa ke Polres untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut, dan sudah Kami tetapkan sebagai tersangka," ujarnya.
Yoga menjelaskan, bahwa pelecehan seksual yang dilakukan tersangka pelaku ini berlangsung tahun lalu. Kejadian pelecehan itu terjadi pada 8 Februari 2018, sekitar pukul 12.00 WIB di salah satu sekolah SMK di Muaro Jambi.
Kala itu, tersangka MU sedang beristirahat di sekolah lagi duduk di dalam kelas bersama temannya sambil menonton film porno dari handphone. Korban yang merupakan satu kelas dengan tersangka lantas memilih keluar dari dalam kelas tersebut.
Namun, setibanya berada di luar, tersangka MU menghampiri korban dan memperlihatkan film porno itu kepada korban. Dikarenakan korban tidak mau melihat, tersangka ini pun langsung meremas payudara korban. Lalu, satu orang teman tersangka pun turut ikut meremas payudara korban dari belakang.
Tak berhenti di situ, korban kemudian ditarik oleh teman tersangka lainnya ke sudut kelas. Di sana, korban direbahkan ke meja dan payudaranya kembali diremas. Karena tidak terima, korban pun berteriak minta tolong.
Korban akhirnya dilepaskan dan berlari keluar kelas untuk menemui gurunya. Selanjutnya korban menceritakan kejadian yang dialaminya itu kepada wali kelasnya dan akhirnya dilaporkan kepada kepolisian.
" Tersangka MU ini sudah cukup lama kita cari, dan baru berhasil kita tangkap kamis lalu," ujarnya.
Saat ini, tersangka MU telah diamankan di balik jeruji besi Mapolres Muaro Jambi. Tersangka ini akan dikenakan Pasal 289 KUHP dengan ancaman sembilan tahun penjara.
Tersangka diancam dikenakan pasal 289 KUHP, karena usia korban pada saat kejadian sudah di atas 18 tahun. Sama halnya dengan tersangka. Saat melakukan aksinya umurnya sudah menginjak usia 20 tahun.
" Memang saat kejadian itu mereka berstatus anak sekolah, tapi usia mereka kala itu sudah dewasa semua. Makanya kita kenakan pasal 289 KUHP," katanya.(std)
