Hal tersebut ditegaskan Bupati Merangin, Al Haris, pada acara peringatan hari Koperasi ke-72 yang dihadiri ratusan pelaku dan penggiat koperasi dan UMKM yang berlangsung  di pelataran Kantor Dinas Perindag Merangin, Senin (30/9).
“ Sekarang ini kondisinya masih sangat sulit untuk mengembangkan koperasi dan UMKM. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhinya, mulai dari modal, sumber daya manusia, bahan baku sampai pemasarannya,” ujar Bupati.
Selain itu lanjut bupati, juga belum terjadi singkronisasi atas berbagai kendala yang dialami, sehingga baik koperasi dan UMKM berjalan tersendat-sendat. Untuk itu bupati minta, pelakunya seris dan lebih profesional dalam penanganannya.
Sedangkan untuk membantu permodalan, bupati telah menganjurkan kepada para pelaku koperasi dan UMKM, menjalin kerjasama untuk mendapatkan bantuan modal dari pihak Perbankkan dan pihak swasta.
Sehingga harap bupati, kedepan berbagai potensi dan hasil-hasil unggulan daerah bisa dikemas menarik dan dipasarkan menjadi aikon daerah. Diakui bupati yang paling berat itu adalah memulainya.
“ Tapi kalau kita sudah memulai, ada wahana dan ada hasil yang akan diraih dari perjuangan yang dilakukan. Untuk itu kita harus lebih tekun dan giat lagi dalam bekerja,” kata Bupati.
Pada acara tersebut, bupati memberikan penghargaan kepada para pelaku dan penggiat koperasi dan UMKM. Ada enam koperasi  yang dinobatkan menjadi koperasi teladan 2019 dan beberapa pelaku UMKM teladan 2019.
Keenam koperasi teladan itu, Koperasi Keluarga Tani, Koperasi Sumber Rezeki, Koperasi Bangun Setia, Koperasi Talang Jayo, Koperasi Delima dan Koperasi Mitra Mandiri.
Menariknya pada acara itu, para tamu dan pelaku koperasi serta UMKM dihibur penampilan artis ibu kota Yus Yunus. Penyanyi dangdut itu sempat duet dengan bupati Merangin dan Kajari Merangin melantunkan sejumlah lagu. (don)
