BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Kecelakaan lalulintas terjadi di Jalan Lintas Timur Jambi-Kuala Tungkal, Rabu (9/10).
Tepatnya di RT. 01 Dusun Karya Lestari desa Muntialo, kecamatan Betara, kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Dimana satu unit mobil Daihatsu Ayla nopol BG 1529 UQ dari arah Jambi menuju Kualatungkal dengan kecepatan tinggi lepas kendali menabrak teras warung warga hingga terbalik.
Kapolsek Betara, IPTU S Harefa SE, dikonfirmasi membenarkan lakalantas di wilayahnya tersebut. Ia menyebutkan, kejadian laka tunggal sekitar pukul 11.50 WIB.
“ Diduga sopir AR mengantuk, sehingga tidak bisa mengendalikan laju kendaraannya. Akibatnya menabrak teras warung warga hingga hancur,” ungkapnya.
Kapolsek menyebutkan, sebelum menabrak teras warung milik Maratun Azizah, mobil Ayla yang dikendarai AR lebih dululu menabrak Mobil Mitsubishi Pajero Warna Putih Nopol BH1569 EK yang sedang parkir istirahat di warung.
" Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden tersebut. Hanya saja mobil ringsek dan teras warung warga roboh,” tandasnya.(den)
