MUARABULIAN - Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Batanghari menggelar upacara memperingati Hari Santri Nasional (HSN) tahun 2019 di halaman Kantor Kementerian Agama kabupaten Batanghari Selasa (22/10/2019).
Menteri Agama dalam sambutannya yang dibacakan oleh Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama kabupaten Batanghari, Herman, S.Ag, MH selaku Inspektur upacara mengatakan, bahwa begitu besarnya peranan santri yang melahirkan tercetusnya Resolusi Jihad.
Resolusi ini beriisi fatwa kewajiban berjihad demi mempertahankan Kemerdekaan Indonesia, dengan Resolusi Jihad ini ungkap Kakanwil, maka melahirkan peristiwa heroik tanggal 10 November 1945 yang diperingati sebagai hari pahlawan.
“ Karena begitu besar jasa perjuangan para Santri dan Kyai dalam merebut Kemerdekaan Indonesia, maka Presiden Joko Widodo mengeluarkan Keputusan nomor 22 tahun 2015 tentang penetapan hari santri yang diperingati setiap tanggal 22 Oktober," ucapnya.
Kantor Kementerian Agama kabupaten Batanghari mengatakan, tema yang diangkat dalam peringatan hari santri tahun 2019 yaitu Santri Indonesia Untuk perdamaian dunia, hal ini berdasarkan fakta bahwa sejatinya pesantren adalah Laboratorium perdamaian, dikatakan sebagai sebagai laboraturium perdamaian ungkap Herman, karena Pesantren merupakan tempat menyemai ajaran Islam Rahmatanlilalamin, Islam ramah dan moderat dalam beragama.
"Sikap moderat dalam beragama sangat penting bagi masyarakat yang plural dan Muktikultur karena dengan cara inilah keragaman dapat disikapi dengan bijak serta toleransi dan keadilan dapat terwujud, semangat ajaran inilah yang dapat mengispirasi para santri untuk berkontribusi merawat perdamaian dunia," jelas Kepala Kemenag Batang Hari.
Selanjutnya Kepala Kemenag menyebutkan ada sembilan alasan dan dasar mengapa Pesantren layak di sebut laboratorium perdamaian, pertama Kesadaran harmoni beragama dan berbangsa, kedua metode mengaji dan mengkaji, ketiga para santri biasa diajarkan untuk Khidmad(pengabdian), keempat pendidikan kemandirian, kerja sama dan saling membantu dikalangan Santri.
Kelima Gerakan komunitas seperti Kesenian dan Sastra tumbuh subur di Pesantren, keenam lahirnya beragam kelompok diskusi, ketujuh merawat Khazanah kearifan Lokal, kedelapan prinsip Maslahat( kepentingan Umum) merupakan pegangan yang tidak bisa di tawar lagi oleh Kalangan pesantren, prinsip kesembilan yaitu penanaman Spritual.
