BATANGHARINEWS.COM, MERANGIN - Bupati Merangin, H. Al Haris pada Jumat (3/1), menjadi inspektur upacara para peringatan Hari Amal Bhakti (HAB) ke-74 Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Republik Indonesia (RI) di halaman depan Kantor Kemenag Merangin.
Padaacara yang berlangsung khidmat dihadiri Kemenag Merangin, H Marwan Hasan dan sejumlah pejabat tersebut, bupati dalam pengarahannya membacakan amanat Menteri Agama RI Fachrul Razi.
Dikatakan bupati, peringatan HAB Kemenag merefleksikan rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT dan simbol penghargaan terhadap jasa-jasa para perintis serta pendiri Kementerian Agama RI.
‘’Kita semua bisa berdiri di tempat ini, tidak terlepas dari perjuangan dan pengorbanan generasi terdahulu,’’ ujar Bupati pada upacara yang diikuti ratusan pelajar MTs dan MAN tersebut.
Agama dan negara lanjut bupati, saling membutuhkan dan saling mengokohkan untuk kebahagiaan hidup manusia. Sejarah dunia sampai abad ke-20 hanya mengenal dua teori menyangkut hubungan agama dan negara.
Dua teori tersebut, teori integrasi yaitu penyatuan antara agama dengan negara dan teori sekularisasi yaitu, pemisahan agama dengan negara. Para founding fathers negara kemudian mengenalkan teori alternatif yaitu teori akomodasi, menyangkut hubungan agama dan negara.
‘’Saya tegaskan bahwa penguatan identitas keagamaan dan penguatan identitas kebangsaan tidak boleh dipisahkan. Apalagi dipertentangkan, tetapi harus dalam ‘satu kotak’ untuk melahirkan moderasi beragama dan bernegara,’’ tegas Bupati.
Penguatan identitas keagamaan bila dipisahkan dari spirit bernegara dapat melahirkan radikalisme beragama. Sebaliknya, penguatan identitas bernegara bila dipisahkan dari spirit beragama dapat memberi peluang berkembangnya sekularisme dan liberalisme.
Kesalehan beragama dan loyalitas bernegara harus saling mendukung satu sama lainnya. Jadikan umat beragama yang shaleh sekaligus menjadi warga negara yang baik.
‘’Saya ingin mengutip pesan Pahlawan Nasional almarhum Jedral Besar TNI Dr Abdul Haris Nasution, yang sangat relevan dengan misi yang dijalankan Kementerian Agama RI,’’ jelas Bupati.
Misi itu, sambungnya, sebagai negara baru tidaklah sekedar ingin mengejar ketertinggalan terhadap negara-negara maju, melainkan sebagai orang beriman ingin membangun kehidupan bermartabat spiritual dan material dengan ridho Allah.
Peringatan HAB ke-74 Kementerian Agama di Kabupaten Merangin diakhiri dengan penyaluran zakar kepada keluarga tidak mampu oleh Bupati Merangin, H. Al Haris, Kemenag Merangin, H. Marwan Hasan dan Plt Sekda, H. Hendri Maidalef.
