MERANGIN,– Biro perjalanan ke Tanah Suci atau Travel terus bertumbuh di Indonesia bahkan di Kabupaten Merangin. Ini disebabkan minat warga Merangin yang meningkat untuk melaksanakan ibadah Umroh atau Haji tersebut.
Menjamurnya biro perjalanan ke tanah suci tersebut menuntut masyarakat meski selektif dalam memilih biro terpercaya. Hal ini dilakukan demi kenyamanan dan keamanan dalam melaksanakan ibadah.
Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Kabupaten Merangin, Marwan Hasan pada Senin (13/1) mengatakan masyarakat jangan sampai tergiur biro jasa yang menawarkan harga murah. Jangan sampai demi menghemat dana, jamaah malah terlantar di Tanah Suci.
Pasalnya, belakangan ini ada saja kasus jamaah terlantar hingga tertipu oleh pihak Travel.
“ Kita warga Merangin saja sudah pernah kejadian, dan itu semua sudah menjadi isu Nasional. Jadi harus kenali betul biro perjalanan yang dipilih untuk berangkat umroh,” ujarnya.
Berdasarkan data yang ada, menurut Marwan, di Merangin baru enam cabang biro perjalanan atau travel umroh yang ada izin dari Kanwil Jambi.
“ Yang beroperasional di Merangin ada enam yaitu Lighwater tour dan travel, Aet Travel, Armindo, Prima Tour, Madani Prabu Jaya dan Rezkia Tour. Itu travel yang kantor cabangnya sudan ada izinnya di Kanwil di Merangin,” kata Marwan.
Lebih lanjut Marwan mengatakn,
“ Biro perjalanan tersebut ada penunjukkan cabang dalam bentuk notaris dan mereka berwewenang untuk menandatangani surat jaminan paspor untuk pemberangkatan umroh. Cabangnya sudah berbadan hukum,” tambahnya.
Dan dikatakan Marwan, selain karena panjangnya antrian haji, tingginya minat warga umroh juga akibat dari meningkatnya ekonomi masyarakat.
“ Ini juga menunjukkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk beribadah meningkat, bagi yang ekonominya baik sangat berniat beribadah langsung ke tanah suci, karena antrian haji panjang maka banyak yang umroh.
