MUARABULIAN - Lebih kurang 2.246 orang siswa jenjang pendidikan Sekolah dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP) di kabupaten Batanghari, resmi mengantongi Sertifikat bisa baca tulis (Bacalis) Al-Quran dari Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Quran.
“Jumlah tersebut terhitung selama tahun 2019 lalu,” kata Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Batanghari, Drs. Al Jufri M.Pd,I melalui Abdul Rahman S.Ag, MP.d selaku Kasi Bimas pada Kankemenag Batanghari pada Senin (27/1/2020).
Abdul Rahman menjelaskan, saat ini jumlah siswa jenjang pendidikan SD dan SMP di Batanghari yang sudah memiliki piagam atau sertifikat bisa buta aksara Al-Qur'an ada 2.246 lembar. Jumlah itu dikeluarkan selama tahun 2019 lalu.
“Kalau untuk lembaga yang sudah ambil sertifikat bisa baca tulis Al-Quran ada 90 lembaga, mulai setingkat SD dan SMP. Mereka tersebar di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari,” ujar Abdul Rahman.
Abdul Rahman bilang, untuk mendapatkan sertifikat bisa baca tulis Al-Qur'an itu, pihak sekolah tidak hanya membuat surat pengantar dari Guru Agama atau Kepala Sekolah (Kepsek) setempat, akan tetapi juga harus ada rekomendasi dari petugas Da'i. Rekomendasi dari Da’i ini, diakui Rahman, tidak lain bertujuan agar anak yang akan diberikan sertifikat tersebut, benar-benar bisa baca tulis Al-Qur'an,” tegas Rahman.
Belum lama ini media ini pernah mempublikasikan terkait penerapan salah satu syarat wajib untuk masuk sekolah tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Dimana setiap siswa setingkat SD, SMP dan SMA perlu melampirkan sertifikat bisa baca tulis Al-Qu’an dan Shalat Fardhu dari Kemenag ataupun LPTQ.
Hal ini diatur di dalam Perda No 17 tahun 2013 kabupaten Batanghari tentang kewajiban baca tulis
Seperti yang pernah disampaikan oleh Dra. Jamilah yang saat itu masih menjabat sebagai Kadisdikbud Batanghari.
Saat itu beliau bilang, sesuai dengan Perda Bupati, bahwa kewajiban bisa membaca dan shalat fardhu dengan melampirkan sertifikat untuk masuk sekolah mulai diberlakukan pada penerimaan tahun 2019.
Untuk penerapan sebagai syarat masuk sekolah, siswa harus melampirkan sertifikat dari Kementrian Agam maupun LPTQ. Ini berlaku bagi siswa beragama Islam yang diterima ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Sertifikat tersebut juga bisa dibuktikan dengan Ijazah TKQ/TPQ/TQA dan Ijazah DTA/DTQ/DTU.
Untuk setiap tingkatkan, syarat tersebut juga diatur dalam penyeleksian siswa. Seperti pada tingkat SD/MI adalah siswa mampu membaca Al-Quran dan mengenal tajwid dasar serta melaksanakan shalat fardlu. Tingkat SMP/MTs adalah siswa mampu membaca Al-Quran dengan lancar berdasarkan ilmu tajwid dan menulis surah-surah pendek Al-Quran serta melaksanakan shalat fardhu. Sedangkan tingkat SMA/SMK/MA adalah siswa mampu membaca dan menulis Al-Qur'an dengan lancar, baik dan benar serta melaksanakan shalat fardhu.
Jika ditemukan siswa yang benar-benar tidak bisa dengan syarat disetiap tingkatanya, siswa tersebut akan tetap masuk sekolah, namun akan mendapat pembinaan pada pendidikan bacalis Al-Quran dan shalat fardhu ini selama enam bulan kedepan disekolahnya.
Meskipun diwajibkan punya sertifikat, siswa sekolah dasar yang belum memiliki sertifikat dari Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Quran tak bisa digugurkan masuk SMP. Yang dijadikan patokan dalam penerimaan siswa baru itu tetap nilai Ujian Nasional.
“Jadi kalau belum punya serifikat, tidak membuat siswa ditolak masuk ke sekolah,” katanya Jamilah saat itu.
Saat itu Jamilah menegaskan, tidak ada siswa SD yang tidak bisa masuk SMP karena tidak punya sertifikat baca tulis Al-Quran. Bagi siswa yang belum punya setifikat MDA dan TPA di sekolahnya, siswa tersebut diberi kesempatan enam bulan untuk memperoleh sertifikat tersebut.
