Ditegaskan bupati, penerimaan TPP untuk 2020 masih tetap sebesar yang diterima pada tahun anggaran 2019. ‘’Saya tidak ingin adanya pengurangan penerimaan TPP PNS pada 2020 ini,’’ ujar Bupati pada upacara kedisiplinan, Senin (17/2).

Dalam bekerja tegas bupati, tidak ada istilah langkah mundur, semua harus maju dan ‘berlari kencang’ meraih apa yang dicita-citakan, mewujudkan masyarakat bahagia menuju Merangin Mantap untuk Jambi Mantap 2024.

‘’Jadi tidak ada pengurangan dalam penerimaan TPP 2020 ini. Minimal untuk 2020 penerimaan TPP itu sama dengan tahun sebelumnya. Kalau bisa nanti kita upayakan bisa naik lebih besar lagi,’’ terang Bupati disambut tepuk tangan meriah peserta upacara.

Diakui bupati penerimaan TPP 2019 untuk para pegawai di jajaran Pemkab Merangin tersebut, dibandingkan dengan kabupaten/kota lainnya di Provinsi Jambi masih dianggap rendah.

Hal ini disebabkan masih kecilnya Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Merangin. ‘’TPP itu dibayarkan dari PAD, sedangkan PAD kita masih kecil. Jadi ukurannya seperti itu, makanya kita masih kecil,’’jelas Bupati.

Meskipun demikian lanjut bupati, hampir tidak ada PNS yang mengajukan pindah tugas dengan alasan TPP yang masih rendah. Sejauh ini PNS yang mengajukan pindah lebih karena alasan mengikuti keluarga atau alasan lainnya.
