BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari melalui Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan (DPKP) Batanghari, menggelar Operasi Pasar (OP) bawang putih murah dan berkualitas di 3 titik Pasar, yaitu Pasar KM 6 Kelurahan Kampung Baru, Kecamatan Muara Tembesi pada tanggal 18 Februari 2020, Pasar Simpang Sungai Rengas, Kecamatan Maro Sebo Ulu pada tanggal 19 Februari 2020 dan Pasar Keramat Tinggi, Kecamatan Muara Bulian pada tanggal 20 Februari 2020.
Operasi Pasar ini sebagai upaya pemerintah dalam menstabilkan harga bawang putih yang pada saat ini cukup tinggi di pasaran, sehingga dapat terjangkau daya beli masyarakat.
Sekda Kabupaten Batanghari, H. Bakhtiar, SP selaku Ketua Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Pangan Kabupaten Batanghari melalui Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Kabupaten Batanghari, Ir. Kusumo Adiwijoyo, kepada media ini mengatakan, bahwa operasi pasar yang dilakukan Pemerintah Kabupaten Batanghari ini merupakan hasil kerja sama dengan Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi melalui Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Jambi.
“Jumlah bawang putih yang di jual di 3 titik tersebut, berjumlah ± 1 Ton (1000 Kg),” ujarnya.
Kusumo juga bilang, operasi pasar ini untuk menstabilkan harga bawang putih di tingkat konsumen yang mengalami tren kenaikan saat ini. Menurut Kusumo, pasokan bawang putih saat ini dalam kondisi aman, dan kepada masyarakat dihimbau tidak perlu khawatir,” imbau Kusumo.
Diakui Kusumo, untuk pemasaran dilakukan dengan bekerja sama dengan Tim Satgas Pangan Kabupaten Batanghari.
“Dari hasil pantauan, animo masyarakat untuk membeli cukup tinggi dan masyarakat menyambut gembira operasi pasar ini,” pungkasnya.
