Bupati Batanghari, Ir. H. Syahirsah Sy bilang, Pemkab Batanghari harus bergerak cepat dalam menangani wabah Covid- 19. Salah satunya dengan menyiapkan dana sebesar Rp 4,8 Miliar melalui APBD 2020.
“Dana untuk menanggulangi corona sudah kita siapkan sebesar 4,8 miliar. Sekarang tinggal pihak BPBD dan Dinkes yang mengelola," ujar Syahirsah di Pendopo Rumah Dinas Bupati Batanghari pada Minggu (29/3/2020).
Bupati berujar, dana tersebut diperuntukkan khusus untuk menangani wabah Covid-19. Diantaranya untuk pembelian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Lebih jelasnya koordinasi langsung dengan pihak Dinkes," ujarnya.
Syahirsah juga menghimbau masyarakat kabupaten Batanghari untuk berdiam diri di rumah. Hal ini sebagai salah satu upaya untuk memutus mata rantai penularan Covid-19.
"Hindari keramaian, jaga jarak satu meter dengan orang, rajin mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir, dan yang paling utama jaga kondisi tubuh dengan makan yang bergizi, istirahat yang cukup serta berolahraga," tegasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Batanghari, Nazhar mengatakan, pihaknya telah mengajukan dana untuk penanganan Covid-19 pada 19 Maret 2020 lalu.
"Pengajuan sejak pekan lalu dan sudah di ACC juga. Sekarang kita tinggal melaksanakan saja," ujarnya.
