Kepala Dinas PMD kabupaten Batanghari, Arief Budiman, ketika dikonfirmasi media ini melalui pesan WhatSapp pada Kamis (26/3/2020) mengaku, untuk saat ini terkait pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala desa serentak di Batanghari masih dalam proses kajian.
“ Masih dalam kajian dindo, melihat situasi KLB Covid-19 ni,” ujar Arif Budiman.
Itu artinya jadwal Pilkades serentak di Batanghari yang semula direncanakan akan dilaksanakan setelah Pilkada, bisa mengalami perubahan jadwal.
“Iyo dindo, karena melihat waktu darurat Covid-19 ini, Insyaallah jika cepat teratasi waktu tidak berubah,” jawab Arif Budiman saat ditanya media ini terkait perubahan jadwal pelaksanaan Pilkades di Batanghari.
Kepada media ini Arif Budiman berujar, bahwa untuk jumlah desa yang akan melaksanakan pemilihan kepala desa serentak di Batanghari berjumlah 62 desa. Desa tersebut tersebar di seluruh kecamatan dalam kabupaten Batanghari.
“Iyo, masih 62 desa,” jawab Arif Budiman saat ditanya jumlah desa yang akan melaksanakan Pilkades serentak di Batanghari.
Arif Budiman bilang, pelaksanaan Pilkades serentak bergelombang di 62 desa nanti, tetap akan menggunakan sistem e-votting. Hal itu dikarenakan masih keterbatasan alat e-votting. Dimana saat ini jumlah alat e-votting yang ada berjumlah 25 unit, yang sebelumnya hanya ada 15 unit.
“Ada penambahan alat e-votting pada APBD 2020 sebanyak 10 unit, jadi ditambah 15 jadi 25 unit,” akunya.
Dia juga mengaku, jika jumlah alat e-votting yang ada masih belum mencukupi jika dilihat dari jumlah desa serta mata pilih yang ada. Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan Pilkades di 62 desa nanti akan dilaksanakan secara serentak bergelombang,” sebutnya.
