MUAROJAMBI - Diduga kayu hasil ilegal logging tangkapan tim Reskrimsus Tipiter Polda Jambi terlihat menumpuk di salah satu shawmil yang berada di pinggir jalan lintas timur kecamatan Sekernan, kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Kayu jenis Racok campur ini terlihat dipasangi garis polisi, dan menumbup di dalam pabrik pengolahan kayu balok tersebut.
Saat didatangi awak media ke lokasi, pada Kamis (04/06/20), untuk menanyakan kenapa kayu tersebut dipasangi garis polisi, Marwan pabrik menyebut kayu tersebut merupakan hasil tangkapan Polda Jambi yang dititipkan sejak malam lebaran idul Fitri 1441 hijriah 2020 lalu.
Hairul menjelaskan, kayu tersebut berjumlah dua mobil tronton yang dititipkan di shawmil tersebut pada malam lebaran, ia menjelaskan kayu tersebut merupakan hasil tangkapan oleh petugas Reskrimsus Tipiter Polda Jambi.
"Ini bukan kayu kita, hanya dititip malam lebaran kemarin. Katanya kayu ini bermasalah dengan dokumennya. Saya dengar ini dokumennya dokumen terbang," sebut Hairul.
Namun saat di tanya kapan kayu-kayu tersebut akan diambil, ia mengaku belum tahu kapan waktunya.
"Kayu ini dititip di sini karena lokasi kita cukup luas dan berada di pinggir jalan, kalau kapan mau di ambil kita juga belum tau bang," ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut ia menjelaskan, bahwa dirinya hanyalah pengusaha kayu yang mengolah kayu di pabrik tersebut, namun bukan pemilik dari pabrik tersebut.
"Kalau saya hanya pengusaha pengolahan kayu disini, bukan yang punya shawmil, kalau kayau saya lewat jalur air bang, dari kabupaten Batanghari lewat sungai, tidak lewat darat, dan dokumen kita jelas makanya aman," tutupnya.
