MERANGIN - Kholis (13) siswa kelas 6 Sekolah Dasar, warga Jalan Pala, RT 02 RW 01 Desa Bukit Subur, Kecamatan Tabir Timur, usai menjalani amputasi pada kaki bagian kanan akibat penyakit tumor ganas yang dideritanya. Namun karena Kholis berasal dari keluarga tidak mampu, kini masih membutuhkan uluran tangan dari dermawan untuk biaya pengobatannya.

Kholis sejak kecil dirawat oleh kakek dan neneknya yang sudah lanjut usia dan tercatat sebagai penerima PKH, setelah kedua orangtuanya berpisah.

Kaki Kholis di amputasi di RSUP M. Djamil Padang, Sumatera Barat, pada Rabu malam (5/8/2020) setelah sebelumnya dirawat di RSUD Kol Abundjani Bangko sejak tanggal, 27 Juli 2020 yang lalu.

Informasi bahwa kaki Kholis sudah di amputasi disampaikan oleh Ketua Relawan Sahabat Kholis, M. Hamdan yang juga ikut mendampingi keluarga dalam membantu mencari biaya dan mengurus keperluan Kholis selama pengobatan.

“Alhamdulillah, berkat bantuan dari semua pihak, adik kita Kholis sudah di amputasi kakinya sampai lutut di RS M Djamil Padang, Sumatera Barat,” jelas M. Hamdan, Sabtu (8/8/2020).

Dikatakan oleh Hamdan, menurut keterangan dokter yang merawat Kholis, setelah diamputasi harus terus mendapat perawatan dan periksa ulang secara rutin serta harus menjalani kemoterapi akibat penyakit tumor ganas yang dideritanya.

“Adik kita Kholis, masih harus periksa ulang dan menjalani kemoterapi secara rutin
untuk mengobati penyakit tumor ganas,”  ungkapnya.

Relawan Sahabat Kholis yang bekerjasama dengan Karang Taruna Cahaya Subur terus berharap mendapat dukungan dari pihak Pemerintah dan para dermawan, karena biaya untuk pengobatan selanjutnya yang tidak sedikit.

Ibu kandung Kholis, Kamiyati (29) menyampaikan ucapan terimakasihnya kepada pemerintah, para relawan, dermawan dan masyarakat yang sudi dan rela membantu baik doa maupun dukungan moral dan biaya untuk pengobatan Kholis.

"Saya mengucapkan banyak terimakasih kepada pemerintah, para relawan, dermawan dan masyarakat yang telah membantu baik doa, dukungan moral dan biaya untuk pengobatan anak saya Kholis," ucapnya.
