BATANGHARINEWS.COM, JAMBI - Pengurus Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) Provinsi Jambi menyambangi (sowan) ke Gubernur Jambi H.Fachrori Umar (11/8). Bertempat di ruang kerjanya, Gubernur menyambut dan mengapresiasi agenda yang akan dilakukan SMSI dalam waktu dekat.
"Saya menyambut baik dan akan menjadwalkan membuka Rapat Kerja Daerah (Rakerda) pada 29 Agustus," sampai Fachrori.
Orang nomor satu di Provinsi Jambi ini mengharap rakerda nantinya dapat menjadikan media siber semakin berintegritas dan dunia jurnalistik makin baik."Khususnya saya harap program SMSI sebagai mitra pemerintah pembangunan provinsi jambi dengan pembangunan Jambi tuntas 2021," aku Fachrori.
Sementara itu, Mukhtadi Putranusa selaku Ketua SMSI Provinsi Jambi menerangkan pada gubernur SMSI didirikan empat bulan lalu dan sudah diverifikasi dewan pers.
Ia menjelaskan SMSI se-nasiobal mempunyai 1700 anggota, dan khusus di jambi ada 67 media siber (daring).
Mukhtadi menambahkan maksud tujuan pihaknya sowan ke gubernur yakni mengundang gubernur membuka Rakerda SMSI pada 29 Agustus yang akan dilakukan di Restoran Pagi Sore Kota Jambi. Rakerda ini sebagai bentuk koordinasi untuk menghadapi Rakernas pada 9 September mendatang.
"Intinya gubernur menyambut baik maksud kedatangan kita, juga kita ceritakan dampak covid 19 di dunia media, Gubernur juga mengatakan Insyaallah tak tinggal diam dan akan ikut perhatikan media," jelasnya.
Tampak pengurus yang datang dalam audiensi ini seperti Wakil Ketua SMSI Provinsi Jambi Sabar (metrojambi.com), Sekretaris SMSI Provinsi Jambi Pirma Satria (Jambiupdate.co). Lalu juga ada pengurus lainnya yang merupakan pimpinan redaksi media seperti M.Surtan (Onlinejambi), Risza S Basaar (Jambi independent.co), Hendri Nursal (Jambi Daily), Faisal Kumar (Jambi One),Beni (lampukuning), Sri Junia Putri (Rubrik Jambi).
