MUAROJAMBI - Team unit Tipidter Satreskrim Polres Muaro Jambi dan Unit Reskrim Polsek Kumpeh Ulu mengamankan satu orang terduga pelaku pembakaran lahan di Kumpeh Ulu. Pelaku diamankan atas laporan warga setempat karena ada lahan milik masyarakat yang terbakar di Rt. 11 Desa Kasang Pudak, Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, pada Minggu (23/08/20).
Hal ini dibenarkan Kapolres Muaro Jambi AKBP Ardiyanto, melalui kasubag Humas polres Muaro AKP Amradi. Ia menyebut, setidak sebanyak 5.000 meter persegi lahan milik masyarakat di Kumpeh ulu sudah dalam keadaan terbakar.
“Setiap pelaku usaha perkebunan yang membuka dan atau mengolah lahan dengan cara membakar sebagaimana dimaksud dalam pasal 108 Junto pasal 56 ayat (1) UU RI no 39 tahun 2014 ttg perkebunan atau pasal 187 atau pasal 188 KUHPidana," sebutnya.
Atas Laporan Polisi Nomor : A- / VIII / 2020/ Polsek Kumpeh Ulu, tanggal 23 Agustus 2020, dengan TKP di Lahan Masyarakat Rt. 11 Desa Kasang Pudak Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, polisi berhasil mengamankan satu orang terduga pelaku, yaitu Teguh Turasno, umur 40 Tahun, jenis kelamin Laki – laki, agama Islam, Alamat KTP Rt. 02/02 Desa Bunjurpasar Kecamatan Bulus Pesantren Kota Kebumen.
“Selain mengamankan satu orang terduga pelaku, kita juga mengamankan barang bukti berupa, 1 (satu ) Buah parang, 1 (satu) Buah mancis warna biru, 1 (satu) batang kayu bekas terbakar berukuran lebih kurang 50cm, dan Abu bekas bakaran,” terangnya.
Sementara itu, ia menjelaskan kronologi awal Pada hari Minggu tanggal 23 Agustus 2020 Sekira pukul 12.30 wib, Unit Tipidter Polres Muaro Jambi dan unit Reskrim Polsek Kumpeh Ulu menerima laporan dari masyarakat bahwa ada warga desa Kasang Pudak yang membuka lahan dengan cara dibakar, selanjutnya Unit Tipidter Polres Muaro Jambi dan unit Reskrim Polsek Kumpeh Ulu menuju ke tempat kejadian yang dilaporkan, sesampainya di tempat kejadian ternyata benar bahwa terdapat sebagian lahan dengan luas lebih kurang 5000m² (50 tumbuk) sudah dalam keadaan terbakar,
“Selanjutnya Team bersama warga sekitar berusaha memadamkan api tersebut dan kemudian setelah api padam. Pelaku dan barang bukti diamankan dan dibawa ke Polres Muaro Jambi guna proses lebih lanjut,” tutupnya.
