MERANGIN - Wabup Merangin, H. Mashuri, membuka acara pelatihan pembekalan dan uji kompetensi serta sertifikasi Tenaga Kerja Kontruksi (TKK), tingkat terampil bidang pasang bata tahun 2020 di Aula Kantor Camat Jangkat, Selasa (01/9). Dikatakan wabup pada acara yang dihadiri Kadis Pekejaan Umum Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Merangin Aspan, Asisten II Setda Merangin Mardansyah Saidi dan sejumlah pejabat lainnya, pelatihan tersebut sangat penting dilaksanakan. ‘’Ketika Pemerintah melaksanakan pembangunan sebuah proyek, semua tenaga kerja kontruksinya harus mempunyai sertifikasi, mengingat pembangunan infrastruktur nasional menjadi prioritas Pemerintah saat ini,’’ ujar Wabup. Target pembangunan infrastruktur nasional lanjut wabup, membutuhkan tenaga kerja kontruksi dalam jumlah besar. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tenaga kerja kontruksi Indonesia pada 2018 bahwa saat ini berjumlah 8,3 juta orang. Sedangkan tenaga kerja yang sudah bersertifikat hanya sebanyak 7,4 persen atau sebesar 616 ribu orang, dengan rincian sebanyak 419 ribu orang tenaga kerja terampil dan sebanyak 197 ribu orang tenaga kerja ahli. ‘’Ini artinya masih terjadi berbedaan yang sangat besar, antara tenaga kerja kontruksi yang bersertifikat dan tidak bersertifikat, sehingga diperlukan percepatan sertifikasi terhadap tenaga kerja kontruksi yang ada,’’ jelas Wabup. Wabup berharap para peseta dapat mengikuti pelatihan dengan serius dan pelatihan yang diikuti akan memberikan manfaat bagi para peserta. Wabup minta pelatihan tersebut, untuk tahun berikutnya tetap dilanjutkan. ‘’Insya Allah dengan tekad, semangat dan sinergi yang kuat, kita dapat menciptakan calon tenaga kerja kontruksi yang terlatih, terampil, professional, berdaya saing dan bersertifikat, guna mendukung pembangunan infrastruktur berkualitas,’’ tandas Wabup.
