Hal itu diakui Wakil Bupati Merangin, Mashuri saat Konferensi pers, Rabu (23/9/2020). Menurut Wabup, setelah mengetahui hasil rapid tes samar-samar dikeluarkan pihak Puskesmas Tabir Timur dirinya pun melakukan isolasi mandiri.

Kemudian Isu pun beredar dikatakan Wabup Mashuri  dikatakan positif, dan banyak masyarakat menelpon langsung keoada Wabup Mashuri.

"Pada hari Minggu saya padat acara... Tabir Timur dan Bukit Subur. Ada pekerja yang terkonfirmasi dari perusahan Tabir Selatan kontak dengan saya," ungkap Wabup Mashuri.

Dikatakan Wabup, di isukan dirinya di kontak dengan pasien yang hasilnya swab. Merasa kuatir Wabup pun melakukan rapid tes di Puskesmas Kadis akhirnya hasilnya negatif.

Saya diminta terus di rapid tes di Puskesmas Kandis hasilnya Negatif, Jelasnya saya ingin melindungi keluarga saya, tetangga dan masyarakat saya," jelas Wabup.

Wabup pun juga sempat melakukan isolasi mandiri dirumah dinas, untuk menjaga kekuatiran.

"Saya pun melakukan isolasi mandiri dirumah," singkatnya.

Sementara Direktur RSUD Umum Bangko Berman Saragih, memberikan keterangan kepada awak media yang ikut Konferensi pers, saat itu ditelpon Wabup hasil rapid tes samar-samar.

"Saya ditelpon Wabup telah melakukan tes di Puskesmas di Kecamatan Tabir Timur, namun hasilnya samar-samar. Wabup ini ceritanya kontak dari terkontak lanjutan," ungkap Berman Saragih.

Namun Berman Saragih menegaskan, saat ini Wabup dinyatakan negatif setelah melakukan tes di Puskesmas Kandis dan RSU Kol Abunjani Bangko.
