Tidak hanya pengabdian lanjut Kadis Perizinan Merangin tersebut, tapi  Al Haris juga dinilai telah memberi perkembangan yang luar biasa terhadap Gerakan Pramuka di Provinsi Jambi.
Sementara itu H. Al Haris mengungkapkan penghargaan dari Pramuka tersebut, telah diterima yang kesekian kalinya. Bupati Merangin dua periode itu, berharap Gerakan Pramuka di Jambi itu terus berkembang dan terus mengabdi untuk negeri.
 ‘’Alhamdulillah atas diberikannya penghargaan ini. Teruslah bekerja dengan serius dan ikhlas, Insya Allah hal yang tidak diduga-duga datang kepada kita, seperti Penghargaan Pramuka ini,’’ ujar Al Haris.
Ketua Majelis Pembimbing Daerah Gerakan Pramuka Jambi juga memberikan anugerah tanda penghargaan Lencana Dharma Bhakti dan Lencana Pancawarsa 2020 kepada Wabup Merangin, H. Mashuri dan Ketua DPRD Merangin, H. Herman Effendi.
Sejumlah  pejabat di jajaran Pemkab Merangin juga dianugerahi tanda penghargaan Lencana Dharma Bhakti dan Lencana Pancawarsa 2020 diantaranya, Kadis Kominfo Merangin M Arief, Kadis PUPR Aspan, Kadiknas M Zubir dan pejabat lainnya.
